    Stamina question/Save File request.

I was wondering if anyone (some of the more diehard/simheads on here, shaun, shakyr, etc) had a save file with their edited rosters available for download? I'm one of the few people that is enjoying the game a little more now. I actually loved the game out of the box (minus a few minor gripes). But the major gripe I had, which was the perfect block/freeze/counter. Was just too much to get past, it was insanely unrealistic and just ruined the game. Why they would ever think timing a block perfectly should result in anything more than less damage taken is beyond me, I've given up trying to find logic in that.

I'm on PS3, and I've seen other PS3 users say that they seem to have way too much stamina drain. I'm not sure how many punches everyone throws. But there's literally no stamina drain for the CPU. The computer, no matter how many punches it throws, lands, misses, etc, has nearly 100% throughout the entire fight, be it Chris Arreola, Pac-Man, Cotto, Tyson, Butterbean, doesn't matter. They recoup about 12% stamina every round. I've put stamina on 0 and CPU punch output on 10, and they throw about 60 punches per round, but I've yet to see them ever gain less than 10% in between rounds. Maybe there's an option I'm missing or it was revealed that their broken sliders are actually backwards and 10 stamina means 0. It's pretty ridiculous because on the flip side. I only get about 4% stamina back in between rounds and lose way more, despite landing a much higher percentage of my punches, and often throwing less punches total. Here's an excerpt from my most recent fight, please wait for hilarity to ensue.

Tyson Vs. Arreola. Tyson's punch stats will be on the left, Arreola's second/on the right. Stamina Recovery follows the same pattern.

    Round 1 - 39/56 -- 10/42 --- Stam recov. - 5% - 11%
    Round 2 - 42/69 -- 9/56 --- Rec.- 4% - 12%
    Round 3 - 22/49 -- 15/62 --- Rec. - 7% - 10%
    Round 4 - 21/37 -- 5/29 --- Rec. - 8% - 12%

At this point in the fight, I have 81% stamina left, Arreola is at 100%

    Round 5 - 35/61 - 12/58 - Recovery 3% - 11%
Round 6 - KO'd King Hippo, punched his band aid, made him drop his shorts, and hit him in the mouth repeatedly.

Going into round 6, I had 75% stamina left, Arreola had 95%.

Is that normal? Am I doing something wrong? Are my sliders messed up?

The reason I'm asking about save files is because aside from the enjoyment I'd get out of the boxing stat buffs realistic edits, I'd also like to see if anyone has a file where they edited all the stamina down to 75. I don't mind being at 75% going into round 6, quite the contrary, I love it, it makes me fight smart. But when the CPU can land 8% of it's 59 punches, and I land 48% of my 42 punches. I'd really like it if they dropped more stamina than they do, and not get 12% in between rounds.

Anyone else seeing the stamina problem? For those of you who feel that stamina is draining way too fast and it makes the fights boring or unrealistic. For the love of God, what sliders/settings/tuner/anything else are you using? I'm completely envious. I can get mine to drop but the CPU staying at 100% makes body punching irrelevant and means no matter how bad I'm beating a guy, I can't try to kill him because I'll lose 18% of my stamina and get 1% back. Thanks for your help.

I think it is a bug. My stamina drains real fast while the computers stay high. I tried making the computer throw alot of punches, but their stamina still stays high. EA needs to fix this issue.

Well, I'm at least glad that I'm not the only one. I saw in their "patch notes" that most people are complaining about stamina being too low. I can't remember if they're going to change it so that there's more stamina now but if that happens then I guess I'll be like others on this board and start looking into trade-in values. I really do enjoy the game but that pretty much kills it. It eliminates a huge part of the tactical battle of conserving stamina versus letting your hands fly. It's entirely possible it wouldn't be all that bad if the between rounds corner stuff didn't give the CPU 9-12% every single round no matter what happens. I just think that if anyone throws 45 punches, and only land 9 of them, they shouldn't be getting back 12% stamina. Granted they threw 45, which is about right, but if they only land 9? How are they not penalized for that?? Meanwhile I deck a guy 35 times out of 52 punches and get a 3% recovery. Does not compute.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense. You do in the round and the computer does bad, but yet they get a huge increase. I love FNC, but that stamina problem is annoying me. I hope they fix it or else I am going to trade it in.

          Re: Stamina question/Save File request.

Thank you for taking the time out to respond. I've seen so many people claim that the stamina loss is overwhelming for both HUM and CPU and needs to be bumped up. I appreciate your response because I was beginning to think it was only me. Which then lead me to look around and try to figure out how to fix it or if my game was broken. I absolutely share your sentiment when you say you hope they fix it or you're going to trade it in. It reminds me a lot of UFC 10s broken submission system. People would act as though everyone was splitting hairs and making too much of a big deal out of nothing. But that's literally 1/3 of the ways to end a fight in that game, so it's a huge loss. With the stamina issue in FNC. You're losing the whole point and purpose of body punching. The decision you have to make when it comes down to letting your hands fly or being careful with your punch total. And my personal favorite, accuracy having no bearing on how much stamina the CPU loses. Want to land 8% of your 62 punches? No problem, we'll hook you up with a 12% boost in between rounds. I just think no matter how you perform in the round, 5% recovery for both stamina and injuries should be the max. But, maybe that's just me.
