Naw "guy". I give credit where its due. If you look at all the discussion, I gave praise to people who gave intelligent feed back and constructive critism. All you said was that I was spamming. Well "guy" . I gotta defend that smh. Never been a spammer. I've wrote countless threads about getting rid of spammers. I don't believe you can judge the way a player plays if you never seen them play or played against them, thats what your failing to understand; your to busy listining to yourself. My ego has nothing to do with it, this is only a game. Trust me I don't go around looking myself in the mirror saying "I'm soooo good at FNC" . I had to bring up facts about my play because you guys where so quick to judge that "I GOTTA BE SPAMMER!!, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!" smh Your assements where simple minded judgements in my opinoin. But hey to each its own, at the end of day thier your opinions, and just like the ole saying goes "opinions are like_____ everbodys has one"(you can fill in the blank). I would just advise if your trying to help some one with advice or a view point don't be so quick to judge.

Have you ever heard a sports commentator refer to a great athlete "He or She puts up stats like a video game!", hence its unreal. I wasn't spamming dude. My game plan is to always work the body, then finish him off at the end. On that paticular fight I felt the judges got it wrong, period. I don't know what your definition of spamming is; I already gave you mine. Spammers have no skill, no strategy, and all they care about is a cheap win. I am none of those. I'll say it again before you call someone a spammer at least see how they play,... hold up.. wait a minute... YOU DON'T HAVE THE GAME smdh. Have a good day sir.
I do own the game. I have it for the 360. It was someone else who said they didn't. I stopped playing online due to players like you that threw nothing but body shots. I could stick and move, and let them wear down as they miss and rake up the rounds but hated playing that way. I do like to engage and in the game there wasn't a proper balance of risk/reward for someone who punches to the body nonstop. In real life no one would throw so recklessly to the body but instead work to set up those shots.

To me a spammer is someone who takes advantage of a fault in the game. That fault being in my opinion that there is not enough punishment for someone focusing strictly on the body. There's not as many options for avoiding body punishment. At least now the scoring penalizes that which to me adds a little more balance to the game.

Just to refocus the thread a bit on more positive feedback, what would be interesting to see for me is if this was a product of the guy you were fighting or if it was a product of goofy judging.

steelernut, You should try fighting offline the exact same way against a couple of CPU opponents of each fighting style and see what the outcomes are. I know you've already said you did it primarily in this case as a way of making your opponent uncomfortable, but if you have the time, try it and see what you get. I'd be interested to read the results.

If the outcome is the same in all cases, then yes the judging is head centric, but then again, real judges are too.

THe real point in your message is that YOU STOPPED playing because you didn't like the way the game was going for you. I think that is just another way of saying your quiting because you couldn't handle playing online. I've lost plenty of times on this game and previous fight night installements online. I just adjust and figure out ways to have success without cheating the game. You cannot make a judgement on a player if you've never seen them play, period. I'm a pressure fighter/counter fighter and I've got my butt handed to me plenty of times, (by sim style players) you saying that there no options for avoiding certain aspects of the game is a cop out in my opinion. You just couldn't figure it out so you decided to quit and go back to playing somthing less challenging like offline play.

I can definitely do that for you brah. I'll be out of town for a few weeks but I'll keep you in mind for sure. But remember at the same time the computer is not going to try to cheese, spam, or run.... so the stat sheet will be different but I'll fight like I always do. I actually fight against the computer on G.O.A.T to warm up before I go online. Appreciate ya man!

Now you're making assumptions. My first middleweight was 20-10 and my heavyweight had a good record as well. The majority of my losses came early on before I got the hang of the game. I need to look up my current fighter's record in OWC.

The reason I stopped playing online is because every fight is the same. Most people would charge in and start jabbing the body nonstop. There was no strategy or picking apart a weakness. It was a weakness in the design of the game and players would exploit it. I don't need to see you play to know that throwing 80% body punches is spam. If you can show me just ONE fight in real life where a fighter did that I'll shut up.

I still believe you quit because the game was not going your way. Just because the opponet you play doesn't fight sim style doesn't mean, in my opinion you should quit. If you fight sim in this game more time than none you will prevail, even against chessers and spammers, but hey it's your time and money, so do you. I don't know why you keep trying to compare a video game to real life smh. Its not possible man. Maybe that is part of your frustration in not playing online anymore. Look man I'm not going to continue to cramp my fingers trying to explian to you that I'm not spammer, the only thing that is important to me is that I know I play without spammig and the people I've faced have never said so. Where going in circles so enjoy your time with whatever game you play.

                  Re: Help me out please

I guess I'm one of them weird dudes then lol. I like the way games LOOK while I'm playing it. Thats a big part of my sim style of play. There are specific house rules I go by to get the best simulated match. Not really about winning and losing for me. More than anything, I like to feel like I'm watching a broadcast.

Point being, it probably would annoy me to no end boxing a dude who pretty much exploited the game for the win ya know. Constant body punches? You'd never see that watching a match. I dont know I might've even fought you already. I won a match with a dude doin that ****. It was extremely boring and annoying (nothing personal) lol.

I'm sitting there like "oh my god, dude are you actually going to box and make this look somewhat like a boxing match or are you just going to keep throwing punches at my body till I'm finally tired?" Put some flair and style into it next time, make it exciting ya know.

In order for the match to be exciting, you gotta mix it up high and low. That monotonous **** just to win matches is annoying man.

As far as comparing games to real life. Thats the point man. Especially sports titles which are pretty much made to simulate reality. Fantasy style games like street fighter, Marvel vs Capcom, etc are different stories. Hence the reason why you get folks on operation sports that look into fine detail when it comes to sports games trying to get the devs to create the games as close to reality as they can get em.

In the process of them trying to make that perfect sim game, there's always going to be glitches and weaknesses that can be taken advantage of. Thats what most online players utilize to get their wins. Its effective, but cheap and annoying to the players who are looking for straight up sim matches. I could go to the body constantly also and wear someone out in the first couple of rounds. Where's the challenge/fun/sim in that?

Constant body punches in my opinion just isn't simulating what this game was meant to be.

OH here we go smh...Like I said before this guy was running the whole entire fight (isn't running an exploit in the game?) I swear I mentioned this time and time again. Like I said I don't play to satisfy the other player. If the "other" player wants to run the entire match and not engage then I'm going to go after their ***. Believe me I'm a sim player all day long, but I have to be placed with a sim player in order to make that happen "right" ?? Its kind of hard to have a sim match when the guy your playing wants to put on his track shoes. You said you like to fight somewhat like a broadcast right?? Well how come I don't hear the broadcaster saying " Wow one fighter is running like his pants are on fire, did he come here to box or run track." IDK.. whenever my trainer see's a guy running all day he tells me to smother him and attack the body to slow his *** down and then finish him when he can't run no more. Thats why I said you cannot compare a game to real life, no matter how hard you try, it only really happens when your playing another player who has that same mind set coming into the fight. I'm sure if we fought we would have a decent match because we both have that "mind set".
