Re: Fight Night's Future is in Your Hands, Take the Survey

    - More realistic and fluid footwork, movement and non-engaged mannerisms

    - More realistic in-ring audio....the hiss of the gloves....and/or the "HA!" of Khan and Ortiz when they throw punches

    - A Super 6 style tournament option during legacy mode

    - Jim Lampley ringside....nobody else should even be considered. And you're EA...you have the money for Lampley and arguably the entire hbo broadcast team. Use the new commentary engines for fluid and constant discussion.

    - Actual fight cards where other fights besides that of your fighter's can be watched.

Good to see there's going to be another release. This game wasn't that far off.

I agree and the producers told me it wasn't a fan favorite. Fans want to fight and not waste time between rounds being a cutman.
I definitely hated being the cutman, but I'd like to see my cutman working along with better, accurate advice from my trainer, if I'm bothering to watch between rounds. This is where they need to go all out on presentation. The corners, replays & announcers should be much closer to a live broadcast.
Shout out to The Watcher! Where you at bruh?

        Forgot to mention Kinect compatibility.

After playing Tiger Woods with Kinect, I am convinced boxing would be a perfect fit. It would be a good workout if it works properly. I wouldn't invest too much into it since it's a feature that would be Xbox only, and it's unlikely that I would use Kienct more than the controller even if it's done right, but it could be revolutionary if implemented correctly.

Being a huge boxing fan, it pains me to say this... but UFC3 got it right. The gameplay is amazing and is based on each fighters attributes. Counters are also based on timing and not some freezing BS. We need HBO 's crew for fights, more new boxers, and better presentation for career mode. Like a 24/7 for big fights. And we need better gameplay with authentic styles and fighters who actually fight according to their ratings. And every punch should not land flush. And please bring Mayweather back!

I disagree completely that this game should have Kinect capabilities. Who is going to slug it out for 10-12 rounds on Kinect? It's just not realistic.

I still play the game and can say for certain that it needs an overhaul. Too much is ignored. Footwork is muddy and slow. The game has a 2D feel to it where the footwork is so limited that you just don't have the sense of moving around the ring.

Stamina is broken. They have to go deeper with stamina and make a guy pay for punches thrown...hit or miss.

Why does everyone say the punching in UFC3 is great -- that ish is horrible! The only thing wrong with the punching in FNC are the forced misses and the stamina for punches thrown. Well, we can toss the button delay in there as well but from a graphical standpoint I think they are fine. UFC's punches look so unnatural and robotic.

I also play from time to time. Have you tried to play with the BROADCAST camera? I feel it allows you to move a little better and has less moments where you and your opponent are just pulled into each other.

Yes, broadcast definitely gives a better feel for footwork. It's actually a great presentation piece. I think the footwork needs some more layers. The movement can be ok but there needs to be an instance of being able to quickly move, not just slide left/right or up and down.

You might finally have realistic stamina? That's been a problem plauging the series for a while now.

Actually EA MMA did this better than UFC and fight night, but ruined it with the parry system and the glitch where you could continue combo's despite being parried if you used the button controls. But as far as timing meaning everything, No game has gotten it better than EA MMA.

That might be the only way they can fix stamina. Their "sim" mode will be to use Kinect.

I think the Fight Night series allows you to throw and land too many punches. There no strategy in that. It seems like you can just throw punch after punch. Thats not realistic. If you watch a fight, the fighters are mostly trying to feel each other out and pick there spots seeing where they can land their punches. That give the game a more realistic feel. Another big thing is finally getting Floyd Mayweather back on the FN, hasn't been on FN since FNR2.
