    Any Update from developers for Legacy mode?

    Folks,

    I can not log onto their Forums at EA for some reason. I wanted to know if any of you have any information on fixing Fight Night Champion offline modes. I have Fight Night for PS3 and everytime I play Legacy mode the game crashes. At some point or another the game will crash. I wanted to know if any of you have any info on Patch #3, or if there will not be one?

    Also, the freezing with CABs and all other bugs, it could have been the greatest boxing game.....

    Strange thing is I finished legacy mode, downloaded the 2nd patch and only freezed once (at the end of a fight).

      @Cyco

      Do you have PS3 or 360? I guess 360 users have not been experiencing hard crashes.

      For the PS3 the Legacy mode is completely bugged.

        They won't be patching this game again. They already did 2 and EA rarely patches a game 3 times, which is why I finally got rid of FNC.

        A huge let down for me as I thought the core of the game showed promise, but they lifted the hood on FNC and played with things they shouldn't have, took things out (obviously by mistake) and never addressed freezing issues.

        Probably one of the messiest titles this generation.
        Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

          Yup, 360. Sorry for you PS3 users.

            I can't say that I completely agree with you there. Yes, the freezing issues are downright unexcusable, given the two year development, but with some careful tweaking and adjustments, I've found this game to be enjoyable and realistic for the most part. Only downside is that Legacy Mode was left pretty much untouched and has bugs (like all of the CABs for the mode never wear robes and it gets pretty boring once you win the title).

            I can't comment on online because I don't play online (and I don't think I'd want to, given the bad reception for online play I've heard). Hopefully the devs take the surveys into serrious account and make a soilid bounce back effort next Fight Night. They spent way too much resources and time on Champion Mode, which was short anyhow.

              Online is just that...we all know what you get when junior has 22 hours a day to play a game. I brush it off and actually enjoyed it. What bothers me is how Legacy mode not just suffered no true enhancements but that it is so buggy.

              But I agree...too much time on Champion mode...something that was forgotten about a month after release.

                -sigh- I really enjoyed Fight Night 4. I've actually bought every EA boxing game now since Knockout Kings 2003. It's amazing how far the franchise has come. Knowing the company, the next Fight Night will be stellar. The customization that they allowed with this game, especially the tendencies is great, but it's like they didn't finish it. You'd think they'd allow editing of weight too.
