I traded this game in a few months ago, but a new tuner has been released since then. I spend most of my time gaming offline against the A.I. Did the tuner do enough to offline game play to make this game worth another purchase?

I thought you were referring to Mario Kart 64. Anyway, I never traded my copies in but havne't played this game in months. I'll record some fights probably this weekend and will post them up.

Yes, in fight now with the right sliders. In fact the game plays better pre-patches and looney tuners. If you want the DLC though and there is alot including the Cowboys stadium venue, you will need the patch.
The game could have been so much better....But I have to admit in fight now, its pretty good. The AI can and will beat you. The boxers fight like their counterparts.
For example, I popped it in the othernight and fought Duran vs. Pac. 1st fight I 1 punch KO'd him. Next fight, Manny brutalized me through 6 rounds before he got me out of there. Next fight he won a 10 round split decision. 4th fight, I ko'd him in the 8th after being behind on the cards. 4 really good fights, not a bad way to spend an hour or so.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

You go into your system cache and delete the cache. The problem is, you are going to delete every patch you have for every game when you do this. Then you have to leave your Xbox internet unplugged or the game will want to patch itself all the time.
