LUCIAN BUTE VS. GLEN JOHNSON Nov 5th

For Bute's IBF Super Middleweight crown, one that he's defended 8 consecutive times, 7 by KO, and the one decision in the mix resulted in a KO the second time around. (Librado Andrade).

Does Johnson have even a microscopic chance to win this fight?

Because of his ring generalship and work ethic , johnson always has a chance. especially if the opponent isn't in good shape and/or takes him lightly. however, i believe Bute will be ready and focused... i like Bute by decision because Johnson is hard to get a stoppage against.

      How old is Johnson now?

Used to be one of my favorite boxers.

Now he's too slow and methodic.

If this fight was 3-4 years ago I could see Glen Johnson somehow winning the fight by SD or even UD but Johnson isn't getting any younger and the last time I watched him fight he was very slow....The only thing that keeps Johnson alive now is his ring skills his chin and the way he still knows how to wear down someone by walking right to them all night and staying right on top of them....But for this fight I would not be shocked if Johnson starts to show his age and wear and tear on his body and gets put to sleep inside of 5 rounds.

42, but he's still no easy out.

Johnson continually coming forward is exactly what Andrade did/does. he's a hard chinned stalker, like Glen Johnson, and only KO'd once - by Bute. Johnson will have to neutralize Bute's left somehow. At first it was the uppercut, but the last few fights his hook and his straight have put people on their rears.

Even still I see this ending like many other Bute fights - middle rounds, left uppercut (Bute's a soutpaw like Johnson) to the gut that folds Glen in half.

Still, glancing over Bute's record, Johnson (however aged) will easily be his toughest opponent. Johnson is more battle tested against superior opposition, and has a great chin.

Still see Bute winning, but it could be a struggle.

Johnson is tough, but i think his age is gonna rear it's ugly head in this fight.

Bute totally dominated Johnson in a BORING SNOOZEFEST.

Actually, no. I thought there was a small chance of a KO by Bute.
