Denis Lebedev vs. James Toney (if anyone cares)

    They fight today in Russia.
I'm simply flabbergasted that Toney came in under 200 lbs. he must have chopped off a leg (or two).

Tony's such a wiley vet I think this is going to be a tough test for Lebedev.

The cruiserweight division is so competitive right now. I wish more guys would stay there.
But maybe boxing has to seriously look at creating a Super-Heavyweight class. Perhaps 225+.
Guys like Adamek are so talented but not nearly big enough to compete against the Klit bro's.

      Ugh. Very sad.
By the sounds of it, I don't know how Toney held on till the final bell.

I wonder if losing that much weight hurt him, or he's simply shot.

        Quite a bit of both.

Yep, pretty much. It's a shame, he needs to hang it up.

i've always been a fan of Toney, but it's time to hang it up... i don't want to see him embarrass himself anymore
