Probably a bad stoppage but I dont know about barely connected, he landed a few big blows.

manfredo waited too long to hold on. i would have liked to see the ref let it go a little longer, but i can't really argue with the stoppage.

You're right about the barely connected thing. I've met Peter dozens of times and he's from my hometown. Showed some hometown bias with that quick reaction.

Would have been great if Peter could have beat his ex trainers fighter tonight. Unfortunately he doesn't have the luxury of focusing 100% on boxing.

Always liked Manfredo as a person and a boxer. Unfortunately every time I have watched him, he's been outclassed. I got to hive him props though he found a way to end up in championship and other fairly large bouts.
