Automatic rematch in November. Everyone makes more money.
I think it's fairly obvious Arum rigged all of this. He owns both fighters, he'll make tonnes of money off another tilt as will Pac and Bradley.

Just another reason why so many are getting turned off the sport. For shame.

This might be a first. Boxing now has as much credibility as WWF.
Yes...in a fight that was supposed to be atune up for tommy hearns, James the heat kinchen beat the hell out of Tommy hearns and was robbed of what should have been a lopsided decision in kinchens favor.

Yeah see this is what I don't understand boxing is at an all-time low here in the US ...And when they do things like this you wonder what the heck is wrong with them...I'm sure boxing lost even more fans after that bull crap they did last night...One day when they can't even sell 1,000 seats to watch the p4p king I guess they will see all of there wrong doings.

By then they've laughed their way to the bank. I really doubt Arum or any of these corrupt promoters involved in boxing really care about the future of their sport. It's about money and when that happens sadly this is what you get.

Re: Pacquiao vs Bradley: rigged or not rigged?

So, I watched the fight from start to finish. Pac-Man was controling the ntire fight, and Bradley was highly inneffective. I expected a unanimous descision from the judges in Pacquiao's favor...but when I heard Michael Buffer and saw the cards, all I could say was "What the hell?"

Lettermen and Emanuel Stewart did, in fact, comment at the begining of the fight that the judges, namely CJ Spiller (or whatever her last name was) shouldn'tve been picked to do this fight. But the alarming this is that the most experienced, most competent of the judges scored the fight in Bradley's favor aswell. Honestly, this was a shock and a sad day for boxing.

Was it rigged? I doubt it, but whatever the case, if Pacquiao asks for a rematch, I guarantee that he'll make it a point to knock Bradley out because of the shoddy judging work.

Re: Pacquiao vs Bradley: rigged or not rigged?

This is all Bob Arum. He is doing all he can to keep Manny from dealing with Floyd and Golden Boy. If Manny wins this fight, its sets up beautifully for Manny/Floyd in the fall. Now that Manny "lost" instead of having to split money and work with Golden Boy, he can keep all the money while he promotes a "re-match" with Manny and Bradley, both fighters he promotes. When Manny wins the second fight guess what......TRILOGY and he can keep Manny away from Floyd and Golden Boy for another 6 months.

Arum just bought himself another year to put off a Floyd vs Manny mega-fight which means another year he can avoid dealing with Golden Boy. Arum may be a snake, but damn if he isn't a smart snake.

This is no question, that this was rigged, Pacquiao was robbed, not Marquez robbed cause thats was 50-50 could've gone away. But this was at the very least 8-4 Pacquiao, this was all to make up for the Mayweather fight, and I guess they had in the contract a second fight on November 10. BUT EVEN BRADLEY said he had to check the tape to see if won... But I guess now in Boxing you have to knock him out... WWF has better judging than boxing now.

Official Scorecard for those who have not seen it.

Looks like last three rounds won Bradley the fight. Unbelievable

This fight wasn't nearly as close as these scorecards dictate. Arum had this predetermined and worked from the start. The remacth posters definately emphasize this.

Man I see the opposite. For some reason mybe due to Pacs demeanor, and attitude towards the fight I think that this fight was going to be his swan song and maybe gave hints to Arum that he was going to retire. Pac completely changed his life around and the dedication and hunger at least from the outside looking in was not there. I think the last thing on his mind was a fight with Floyd. Maybe Arum had it rigged so that if Pac does retire he has another cash cow in Bradley who can lay claim to the fact that he beat Pac..it also keeeps titles in house for Arum..Maybe he thought that this would entice Pac to come back in order to beat Bradley wich he already stated will make him alot of money, and then maybe Pac would have the desire to fight Floyd after Floyd runs his mouth..Either way he is guaranteed a title in house, a moneymaking rematch with Pac , or a moneymaking fight with Floyd...Whatever it was the decision was not up to par and reeks of boxing corruption...There is a reason why Teddy Atlas immediately called this decision corrupt and he is on the inside so he should knwo..he has always hinted around about how shady certain promoters and boxing was but for him to put in on blast immediately after the fight knowing the media firestorm it can cause makes me think he knows something..

IDK I saw a post fight interview where Manny said he will fight whoever his promoter (Arum) tells him. It was on ESPN this morning. I'm out right now or I would link it.
