Excellent post man..I posted something similar to this a couple of months back to show people the exact samew thing..Both started at 106 and both progressed naturally at almost the same speed, yet pac is on steroids and Floyd is not...I just ignore the people who flap that Pacroid garbage because it sounds ignorant and you can tell they are not even attempting to get the facts straight..good post again

Re: Pacquiao vs Bradley: rigged or not rigged?
As bad as this decision was, it was not the first of its kind. As far as the most egregious decision goes, I was always partial to the Roy Jones, Jr. '88 Olympics robbery. Anyway, here is a list of a few of the worst decisions:

Originally posted by allBthereyou are speaking as if pacman has been caught using roids... it's a bit crazy... I accuse someone like alistair overeem who to me has undeniable muscle development. In this case you are using a mayweather accusation on its own and a really stupid chart to make it seem legit.

Re: Pacquiao vs Bradley: rigged or not rigged?
No.
Because volume punchers like Paul Williams would go undefeated.
A computer can't track the impact of a punch.
Boxing needs a complete overhaul. A federal investigation and oversight is needed. Can't leave it up to the states anymore because all they care about is bringing income to their cities and then they wipe their hands of all the mess that's left in the ring.

This is how these things go, any mention of Pacquaio these days and its inevitable that Floyd or steroids are brought up.Last edited by MattyEdgeworth; 06-12-2012, 05:05 AM.

Re: Pacquiao vs Bradley: rigged or not rigged?
Yes but I can instantly tell by the PacRoid comment that you are a 'flomo' as much as I hate those stupid terms.
Touching on the 'unicorn' nonsense, you may find this interesting-
Mayweather at 16 years old was fighting at 106 lbs, and has fought as high as 154lbs — and Pacquaio at 16 years old was fighting at 106lbs and now fights at 147. There are minor differences regarding when the weight gains happen- but they have essentially done the same thing. The only difference is that Mayweather was in the amateurs when he was 16 and Pacquaio was a professional, for some reason that makes a difference.
Now here where the 'fluctuating his weight' comment derives from sir:
In March of 2008, he fought Marquez at featherweight
In June of 2008, he fought Diaz at lightweight
In December of 2008, he fought De La Hoya at welterweight
In May of 2009, he fought Hatton at super welterweight
In November 2009, he returned to welterweight to fight Cotto
In July 2010, he fought Margarito at light middleweight
In May 2011, he fought Mosley at welterweight
Now thats not the rare part -- the rare part is that his speed and power never took a hit. I have to reread my post because I'm sure I mentioned that. If you have ever boxed, I have, then you know when move up and down your weight in short periods of time, you sacrifice one or the other. I couldn't find his weigh in weights but everyone knows that that is NOT the weight he will be once he steps inside the ring, especially after having fluids pumped back inside of him. So to go from fighting at around 126 in 2008 to fighting at 147 in 2012 without losing any power or speed -- yeah, thats 'unicorn rare' -- I don't care how you slice it.
And second, your chart is off -- I think you probably just google'd that info anyway but Manny fought De La Hoya at 147 (entered the ring at 148.5) in 2008, so if you please, could you move that line up a little bit more to give a better representation of their weight gain. And now that I actually looked at it, Mayweather fought Mitchell in 2005 at 147. So technically, if I'm reading it correctly, Mayweather's weight should be a little bit more steady once he reached 28 years of age.
Also, I'm in Germany, just started training again -- do you box at all? I'd love to go a couple rounds with an OS'erLast edited by JerzeyReign; 06-12-2012, 04:29 AM.#WashedGamerComment

Re: Pacquiao vs Bradley: rigged or not rigged?
the steroid allegations all began when people gave pacquiao the nickname pacman*
pacman is a video game character who eats power pellets and becomes invincible.
the mayweathers started to associate pacquiao to the pacman game character.
they never saw a fighter fight like him before so "he must be on something". the rumor spread like wildfire.
power pellets = these could be the steroids, in actuality.
...
and the rest is history.

Re: Pacquiao vs Bradley: rigged or not rigged?
First, you kids better calm down with these derogatory terms directed to me -- I'm not one of these lil' teenagers you are accustomed to talking to on forums. If you want to have a mature conversation about boxing, joking about your favorite boxer's rival, cool, we can do that. But all this 'nuthugger' and 'flomo' stuff is not needed. Again, I'm not a child please give me the respect I'm giving you.

and yep I found the chart when I googled it, I was actually looking for the photo that Control-X posted which proves that the weights gains aren't strange. Although that seemingly isn't what you were saying anyway.
As for him keeping his speed and power being unusual, I agree it is unusal, That alone doesn't mean that he's on steroids, it simply means he's a special fighter. It was thought to be impossible when Henry Armstrong did it, and as far as I'm concerned it's the same here.Last edited by MattyEdgeworth; 06-12-2012, 05:31 AM.

Re: Pacquiao vs Bradley: rigged or not rigged?
Also, I'm not saying that I know for certain that Pacquaio isn't on steroids just that I don't believe he is and think it is wrong to throw insults like PacRoid about based purely on speculation.
Also, I was looking for a great article I read a whle ago about this subject, its written by an actual scientist who knows all about this stuff. Anyway, I just found and I think you should give it a read, it's very interesting- http://www.badlefthook.com/2011/3/15...d-analysts-andLast edited by MattyEdgeworth; 06-12-2012, 05:31 AM.
