What would make you interested in Legacy/Career Mode?

I wonder what would make members of the Fight Night Community interested in the Legacy/Career Mode?

    Great stuff so far guys.

    -realistic amateur tournament setup

-amateur shows and tournaments we can name with options on the setup, location, awards, etc;.

-200 or more boxers in the ranking system and boxers who are not ranked.

-World, country, state, or city locations. We need more.

-you should be able fight amateur as long as you want and when you turn pro the commentators should talk about your record and amateur titles.

    -a detailed manager/promoter mode.

-boxing cards, you can watch other fights or potential opponents.

-some boxers should be special in some way from the start of their careers i.e; Tyson, Sugar Ray(speed)

-being able to get info of other fights happen around world via. media, TV(Sportcenter). EA for goodness sake use the darn license like it should be used!

-more gyms for your boxers to go to(editable)

-True use of ESPN presentation for fights that happened or will happen similar to NFL 2K5

    ......(to be continued)

*I will be doing this with every mode. It's important to know what would make you more interest in a mode you play or wouldn't normally play.

That would be perfect, I'd love to able to stay amateur for as long as I wanted as well. Not this nonsense that EA has at the minute.

I want to see money mean a lot more. I want to see us be able to hire cutmen and trainers and cornermen and have who you hire make a difference on your ratings and progression. I would like money you make work towards hiring a better promoter. Or have the promotion and popularity add to your popularity so that you get offers from bigger name promoters which affects how much money you can make.

Give me a reason to test my boxer against harder competition.

I just started another career a couple nights ago so I'll have more fleshed out thoughts here a little later.

I'd hate to bore everyone with my complete thoughts on this subject (because I've become a parrot when it comes to boxing games and Legacy/Career modes).

So I'll just say that as far as money goes, it should go into managing a complete gym - not just one fighter.
Money should count towards a mortgage, bills, paying fighters, trainers, equipment, travel expenses, etc.

Some might not want that level of granularity, so have the CPU handle that for you.
But for someone like myself, I think the sport of boxing can be made MORE exciting out of the ring, than inside when it comes to video games.

Re: What would make you interested in Legacy/Career Mode?

I would like to see the following:
Better training modes/training camps before fights.
More crowd reaction like the crowd booing and cheering certain fighters.
The ability to watch boxing cards like we can in UFC Undisputed.
Players age as they get older (gain weight, look physically older in the face)
          Fighter weighins
Interviews after fights where you can call out someone.
A monthly wrap up show that highlights up and coming fighters/P4P list/ and recent fights.
Include the olympics in the amateur mode.
Different announcers depending on the event. Lampley would not be commentating amateur fights.
Different presentation elements depending on the magnitude of the fight.
Have different fighters enter the ring with their entourage as they get more popular as a option (Like Danny Garcia)
Tournament modes like the Super 6 Boxing tournament
The ability to sign with promoters and create your own promotion company like Mayweather as you make more money.

One thing I would definitely want to see is the existing boxers handled differently. Right now I'm doing a welterweight career and Manny Pacquiaou, JCC, and Timothy Bradley have already retired before I reach the top 10. They need to time it out so that when you reach the time there may be one existing boxer already at the top of the heap but a little past his prime, a few that rose in the rankings along side you, and some debut after your career has started so that you can fight them down the line as they are up and comers.

this feature would be so easy to implement. This would basically be like an MLB TODAy season mode found in 2k's baseball game. they could incorporate true to life injries etc. even an aspect where boxers could reject a fight offer.

That is a seriously bad-arse idea! Nice thinking tril!
