He needs to end this fight, though...Dawson is slower and obviously fatigued.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

I agree. Ward cannot allow him back info the fight.

Dawson won't be winning any rounds here. He's done. I just would like to see Ward finish him.

Ward lacks KO power. If he had it, this fight would be over

That's the definite conclusion here. A few things I don't like though is how he's leaning on Dawson..leaning his arm on him in round 9. The guy has this fight. I just want to see him finish it. This should not be into 10 rounds.

Wow, damn sure didn't expect the fight to turn our this way. Brilliant performance by Ward. Should be the P4P king now.

I saw this in him sometime ago.
If he can't keep an opponent "boxing " with him, he has little else to offer.
Make no mistake, though, this is a big win for Ward : he uncharacteristically finished a fight!

This just shows how good Ward is. Dawson is a really good fighter and Ward just ran straight thru him. Weight had nothing to do with that, Ward just took away the jab and then controlled the fight from there. Would like to see him fight the Martinez-Chavez winner. If Chavez wins, i dont see why he couldnt make 168.

                      Give me a break.

A world class champion got destroyed by another elite, world class champion.

Someone had to lose...Ward made it emphatic.

Is Dawson supposed to stay in the fight and get permanently hurt when he had no chance to win?

It was the equivalent of a tapout, it just isn't acceptable in boxing which is truly ridiculous.

I disagree, you don't quit. You adjust, and keep going. Finishing a fight is still a good thing.

Thats easy for you to say. Dawsons legs were obviously gone and i dont see any shame in him wanting out. He took a beating all night and was hit with flush punches. Maybe Dawson still wants to have his brain in tact after his career?

No one right now can beat Ward at 168. Not real sure if Dawson could handle the likes of Frosh or Kessler either.

IMO (which doesn't mean crap) Andre is the #1 pound for pound guy.

He has a right to quit, I have a right to critique him for doing it.

He deserves to be mentioned. No one has a better record of named guys over the last two years.
