Decisions don't make sense!!!

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I just came back to the game last month. What does it take to win a round? I had a fight where every round I landed more punches. Some rounds by a large margin. Not just jabs either. I landed loads of hooks & uppercuts while my opponent just threw straights. I mixed up my attack. I landed a higher percentage. Only difference was he threw more punches. I'm lost!!!!!

The producers didn't show any enthusiasm for this game from the start. This game is a glorified arcade fighter without attention to the detailed of the real sport. It would be ok if they mixed up the judges and they had criterias they were looking for. Boxers getting splits and draws because it's in there hometown or they are the champ. They just need to do their homework and study the sport.

I don't know how to post pics but here are stats from a fight I lost.
He threw 813 total. Landed 395. 600 straights thrown. Landed 258. 185 jabs thrown. 123 landed. 33 power punches. 10 landed.

I threw 783 landed 502. 101 of 172 jabs. 48 of 78 straights. 216 of 321 left hooks. He threw NO hooks. 71 of 108 right hooks. 66 of 102 uppercuts. 5 of 11 power punches.

One round I lost I outlanded him 59 to 40!! Not all jabs either.

I want to like this game but..... man!!

I only won 1 round. I did get dropped in the 10th going for the ko.

I've noticed that judging can get a bit funky too, but that's almost realistic lol. I think the judges like to see power punches landing. I used to not throw many, but now that I've mixed them up a bit more I notice I'm starting to win on the cards much more often. Watch out for those counter shots.

That's probably true. I just don't like winding up for the power punches. I can land 10 to 15 more punches but they land 3 power punches & win the round!!! Frustrating.

The producers designed the game to be a slugfest every fight.

It's garbage!! It doesn't reward efficiency at all. It doesn't reward landing harder shots! I can make a guy miss & land bombs but if he throws 126 punches he gets the round! I mostly win because my opponent is exhausted! Never because I was slick & outboxed him. I'm average at the game but I know I'm getting ripped off!

Fouls are killers. Many a times uppercut get the boxers landed in a foul zone. Also many opponents try to make their counterpart to make a foul by throwing unnecessary punches and making them irritated.

I think it's all about how many punches you throw. Total BS!!!

I still can't figure it out. It's not % thrown. It's not power punches. It's not total punches. I get beat by guys throwing only jabs!! I think I'm winning rounds but im not!

I'm average. When I outland a guy every round & land harder punches & still lose I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I get clobbered plenty. Some loses just don't make sense.

Ok I think it's power punches that make the difference. Whether you land a straight or a hook doesn't matter. I outlanded a guy 56 to 23 but he threw 30 + power straights to my 5. Stupid scoring!! Ok I've beat this to death I know. Just was surprised at how wack the game is.

game isnt wack. if you are just throwing punches for the hell of it you will lose the round. are you a die hard boxing fan or just a casual fan who plays the game?
