I had the same thought...couldn't have been worse for the sport, if they're trying to build an audience. The whole thing looks completely illegitimate....which it is.

117-111. I can't even fathom the justification for that.

He said he caught a cold when he got down there.

Doesn't matter....Pac still won that fight. Hell, he landed nearly double the punches on Horn....still lost.

WWE is more legit than this nonsense.

The CompuBox stats from that fight are hilariously one-sided. Not that the numbers necessarily tell the story, but when they're that lopsided....

That being said, he won that fight tonight.
horn was game as all get out....and had a chin to boot. what were the final punch stats?????? still haven't seen them. they curiously didn't show them at the end of the fight too. manny had to win those stats easily. horn got hit way too much to win. it was almost stopped in after the 9th for pete's sake. he had heart but never hurt manny or had him in trouble. smith and atlas ranted after the fight, rightfully so.

The worst thing is that everyone was like "Wow, that was a good fight! Horn tried but didn't land anything, almost got TKOd and came back with great heart." And then they just totally botched it.

PAC landed 182 punches. Horn landed 92.

I didn't say he didnt win the fight. I just wonder if we would have heard about his cold if he won the fight. Like his injured shoulder. I don't think manny has had a good showing against a good fighter since bradley. I am just glad this fight was free. But I know he needs money.

Horn's punches were completely ducked, dodged, and glanced away all damn fight. Even my untrained eye saw that. Can't believe he got three judges that apparently only award try-hard. Or it was rigged for the rematch clause.

I know you're kidding. He was the Argentina judge, the other two 115-113 for Horn were USA.

Generous decision for Horn, but I didn't think he was hurt as badly as everyone said in the 9th, and he was sticking right hands (many leads) down the pike as part of his agressive plan.

Yeah, got kind of irritated with Atlas talking up the inevitable Manny KO because of Horn's openings. Pac hasn't KOed anyone in 8 years.

if the ref stopped that fight he wouldn't have made out of there alive....lol.

I don't know, I think if that round is 20-30 seconds longer, Horn gets knocked out. He was staggering on pretty shaky legs by the end of it. I think the ref was close to (rightfully) jumping in and stopping it.

Perhaps the most amazing thing is that it was a unanimous decision(!!!!). Even if you somehow, some way, in some alternate universe with infinite possibilities think Horn may have somehow won that fight, a unanimous decision with one card 117-111? I can't even wrap my mind around that.

I had to laugh at bradley saying horn would be competitive against Crawford, Garcia, Spence, or Thurman.
