Some serious words that go beyond the usual weigh in banter. There is a lot of animosity between the two camps.

EDIT: Looks like GGG-Chavez is off. Don't understand why Chavez wouldn't sign an extension. Is he just afraid of this fight?

Sadly, I can't blame Chavez for this. If he doens't want to do work with Arum I can't be mad at him too much.

Yeah, but what does Chavez do until October 2015? That's almost a year and a half away.

Add that to the fact that he was guaranteed $7 million to fight GGG, with his next fight guaranteed at $5 million if he LOST to Golovkin. If Chavez WINS he's guaranteed $10 million for his next fight. So that's a minimum two fight payday of $12 million, with an upside of $17 million.

I guess he thinks he's worth more than that. If he does beat GGG, maybe he thinks he'll become a bigger star than Alvarez.

He probably would, but could he beat GGG? And what other opportunity to fight GGG exists if he passes now?

I don't think he can beat GGG. If he doesn't sign with Arum he'll have to forget GGG and he'll have to jump to Showtime and fight with Goldenboy. Maybe a fight with Canelo could go down.

Stiverne is pretty good. Don't go to the fridge for Stiverne-Wilder. As a matter of fact, don't even blink.

Entertaining fight, but Stiverne takes a pretty good shot too. Arreola caught him with a good shot right below the eye, that didn't seem to faze him.

Damn, what a knockout. Arreola actually looked in much better shape and looked good during the fight until that knockout.

There's no telling though, didn't they say vitali wanted the winner of this fight? Stivern might take that, im sure he'll get paid a lot more. Although i'd rather see him fight wilder to see how wilder handles a decent heavy weight. Then the winner of that could fight jennings, winner fights vitali.

I really hope we see Stiverne/Wilder. Winner can fight Vitali.

Damn man, I really thought Chris had finally broken through, he was winning the fight going away and got caught slipping. There really isn't much for him in the HW division, but that division is so watered down that if he can beat a bunch of tomato cans he can get right back into the picture for an alphabet soup title.

Yeah, Arreola was fighting well, but I believe Stiverne when he said he was trying to make Chris comfortable. Stiverne had a tough fight on his hands, but absorbed some good right hands and impressed a lot of people with this performance.

Agreed. But I think Vitali is done boxing for now due to his position as a political figure in the Ukraine.

But at the very least, a fight with Wlad seems inevitable.
