    Fight Night Sequel?

So are we going to see a Fight Night Sequel in 2013?
Will we even see a boxing game on next gen?

Is EA even in the boxing game anymore?

The majority of EA's Fight Night team is working hard on the UFC game. They are pushing it for the Next Generation systems. I wouldn't be surprised to see a boxing game pop up because some of the Fight Night team stayed on, but they wouldn't push it out too close to the UFC game.

Yep probably not until 2015. With UFC scheduled to drop next year, I cant see EA dropping a boxing game too close to it.

I think EA UFC game will be a Next-Gen launch title which is November of this year. The Fight Night had a template(EA MMA Game) to build the UFC game off of and a bigger staff. I'm looking at early next year for a Fight Night game.

I would be shocked if EA released a FN game within 6 mos of a UFC release.

Yea, I'm thinking more so a Q1/Q2 2015 or Q1/Q2 2016 lunch as best scenario for a EA boxing game.

You will have to ask yourself why did they leave half of the Fight Night team on to keep working on the franchise. An EA staff member also said this when asked about Fight Night franchise going forward.

Like I mentioned it may appear sooner than later.

Boxing is dead, and boxing video games are deader than dead

If they came up with a great boxing game it would sell like hotcakes. They haven't come close yet.

                  Why is boxing dead?

I definitely agree! Yeah, Why is boxing dead? Is this coming from a casual fan perspective or a true boxing fan. I see alot of future talents. There is still amateur boxing....so how is boxing dead, again?!?

boxing isn't dead. the national media simply chooses to ignore it, for the most part. that's THEIR stupidity. PPVs continue to break records, and venues sell out all over the globe. the heavyweight division is in a drought, but these things go in cycles. the heavyweight division will bounce back one day and, when it does, the simple-minded media will be there to cover it for the simple-minded fans!

I don't think boxing is dead but I think a lot of the guys who might have gone into fighting are going into other sports. Back in the day you couldn't make that much money playing football compared to what a top heavy could make.

Only people that say Boxing is dead were Mike Tyson fans or MMA fanboys or just people who just don't know **** about the sport, period... Welterweight, Junior Welterweight, Junior Middleweight, Middleweight divisions are booming right now
