    Boxing Gaming is Still Alive

Boxing gaming isn't going nowhere at all. It's that fans are not expressing who they want to come out of a company. These games prove that boxing gaming isn't dead.

The only thing missing from TBCB 2013 is a true career mode and game AI, but these features are slated for the first major update to the game, scheduled to arrive in 2014. Their addition will undoubtedly make TBCB as crack-like as the Out of the Park Baseball series.
This is essential. I don't have much interest in running dream bouts.
I want a career mode similar to OOTP baseball - which is insane. Almost too much depth.

There used to be a sim boxing game that allowed you to do this.
There were hundreds of simulated fighters with static attributes. When you start out, you're an unkown manager so you only got crappy fighters in your stable to start.
You might have some fighters with a couple of attributes above 8/10, but for the most part, they were pretty bad.
Top rated fighters wouldn't even sniff your way until you proved yourself.
So if you took a middleweight with 4/10 power, 5/10 speed and got him a title shot, other, more talented fighters would start signing with you.

I can't remember the name of the game. I thought it was Title Bout, but I think that's wrong.

Anyway, if TB2013 can add that type of depth in a career mode, I may never touch a console boxing game again.
