great article....but the truth is, UFC isn't as popular as they first thought it would be. rousey is out. jones has had recent issues. st. pierre is retired. their cash cow (mcgregor) is talking about a BOXING match against mayweather instead of a UFC fight. licensing aside, boxing lends itself to a video game form more than UFC, plain and simple. it's just more fun. i think a boxing game would at least match UFC in sales.

The EA UFC games sales are horrible and the source in the article *isn't being truthful about sales numbers. EA worst Knockout Kings/Fight Night game sold better than the EA UFC series games. They are purposely saying boxing is dead and isn't huge in America to drive boxing fans to UFC/MMA.
