It is not a fight night title, she has since retracted her statement in a recent article, she is however coming to playstation in a boxing title to feature a dominant female boxing champion, which is huge.
However, it does look like Anthont Joshua's manager has been trying to convince EA to make another Fight Night, and if anybody could sell a fight night, it would be Joshua selling it to his entire home country

She was most likely referring to the Round4Round boxing game. Has a couple "big" names attached to it already, so wouldn't be surprising.

After looking into Round 4 Round, checking their website and social media I can almost guarantee this thing is vaporware.

I can't find anything about who the actual developer is for 1. But their "roster" seems tiny, their graphics look dated, there's zero gameplay footage or any animation at all. This thing has been "under development" for what seems to be quite a while with only bare bones progress being made...

If I were to bet on it, id put my money on this never actually coming out.

The boxing game doesn't need a new title imo. Like current tennis games, there is nothing wrong with continuing to play Top Spin 4, which is great, except you can't play with the current stars. Same with boxing. But given the current climate, I doubt there's many "stars" there. The last FN is still great.



I hope they just continue with this franchise on a yearly basis like FIFA. Perhaps it's not necessary to have a new game each year, but they could release a big roster update a year after release. In terms of content, we got a small number of fighters I never ended up playing and some new animations. That's pretty much it.

I'd rather see a good game take 5 years than a **** game released yearly or bi yearly

I dont mind if they take 5 or 10 years. I just want some proof that they are working on an actual game. There are a bunch of indy sports games that have released player model images and signed athletes and were just vaporware.

The game has been in development for 2 years?!? It was "announced" last year. The game is being made from scratch not from an already made game upgrade. You can not compare a small indie company process to an AAA company. I'm puzzled why there is a comparison at this point!?!
Indie companies don't have the money and huge staff AAA companies have. Fans are so impatient. Nobody is wasting anyone time or money because these boxers have to be paid and we are still in the process of acquiring boxers.

Its safe to assume that they didnt start working on the game the day they announced it, right? Did they announce a game in June that hadnt even worked on at all?

Also I never compared this to an AAA game. I compared this to other games (like Joe Montana Football and Gridiron Champions) that had websites, signed players and "in game" photos....and never released a game.

Also, have you ever heard of bankruptcy? These boxers dont have to be paid. Even if these boxers had guarantees in their contracts, R4R would just file for bankruptcy and the boxers wouldnt receive a dime.

The fact that the game has deals with boxers doesnt guarantee that a game is coming out.


Dude, I'm asking for a clip. Not a full video. Not an hour of gameplay. Not a demo....a clip that shows that an actual game is being developed. Something that indicates that development is moving forward other than you promising that a game is being released and the website releasing iphone vids of fighters saying they will be in the game.

People saw these and were pumped. "College Football gamin is coming back!"
Well that was 2 years ago and not only has IMVGaming stopped providing updates to the game but they've locked their twitter. The game is vaporware.

The Ruiz screenshots looked like concept art. The Zab screenshots looked like ingame. That's why I didn't mention the Ruiz ones.

I think ingame screenshots mean something. Look at Doug Fluties Maximum Football. The first look at gameplay came out this week and the game launches in September.

Healthy skepticism is fine, but I don't think Round4Round won't release because of the lack of released gameplay.
