Re: Rumors of Steelcity interactive getting bought out by EA or 2K?
Wasn't it just a couple of months ago that they got some major investors that they stated would increase the scope and potential of what they originally had planned.
I also believe they shot down a previous attempt to be bought out by a major studio not that they could have been approached with an even bigger offer.

I’m thinking the delay is to get the company onboard 2k or EA!! No way they was going to let a boxing sim like this get out without having dibs on it!!THANKS FOR THE TRADE SANDIEGO KEEP RIVERS WE'LL TAKE ELIComment

Steel City Interactive may seek a AAA company to publish the game not develop it and they have no intentions of selling the company. I can confirm that too because the Founder of Steel City Interactive made that clear to me in conversationsPoe is an advocate for realistic boxing videogames.Comment

I can confirm EA will not have a hand in this project be it as developer or "publisher". People seem to confuse publisher and developer on purpose; they are two different things.

If a company like 2k publishes the game, do they still get their branding on it?

Yes. All publishers put their brand or logo on a product along side the development team game they are publishing.Poe is an advocate for realistic boxing videogames.Comment
