THIS IS A POWER PUNCHERS GAME!!!!!!!!

When playing online in the heavyweight division it seems to me that the faster boxers don't stand a chance. (Ali, Jones....etc) The power punchers like fazier, norton and others are just to much...To me there is no clear difference in hand or foot speed....You can't dance around the ring or bob and weave fast enough to avoid the power punches from the slower boxers. Does anyone have success online with quicker fighters?

You are right. I got my butt kicked by Marciano last night (I had Ali). I jabbed and danced. The I bobbed and weaved nothing worked. The guy was clocking me hard even when his stamina mater was completely out. Needless to say, I quit paying after that.

Defense is the key against a player who is extra aggressive learning to parry punches then counter punching as well as bob and weaving is key. Pick your spots and after he punches himself out.

I tried that.... I feel my defense is average I move around the ring well and parry punches well....but because there is no real difference in foot speed in or hand speed the slowest boxers can catch you. The brawlers throw punches just as fast boxers especially online. This reminds me of back in the day when the big running backs in football were not effective because they were slow. While the smaller backs recieved alll of the glory...But non the less EA has a good game it just needs some fine tunning.
