too many knockdowns...
yet again in fight night...u have to knock someone down like 6 times for the fight to end...i just had to knock a guy down 7 times for the fight to end....ud think with the guy practically blind in one of his eyes that the ref wouldve stopped it after the 4th or 5th or maybe even the 6th knockdown....i can deal with the haymakers, i ve come to accept arcade bs from easports, but this is the most annoying thing about this series. other than that, the game is awesome.Tags: None -

Re: too many knockdowns...
I agree. However, I haven't played with real boxers a whole lot. You'd think that with somebody that has a lot of power, you should be able to finish some fights on the 1st knock down - does this happen? There should be the small possibility that, even if you're losing the entire fight, you have a shot of KO-ing your opponent in the 12th round if you have the stamina. That's boxing.
Again, it takes away from the realism.
The other thing that pisses me off is the option in the career mode that gives you the power to "get up from two knockdowns that should've been a KOs" if you purchase it as a special power. WHAT? What kind of BS is that? Is this Fight Night or Mortal Kombat?
These are just a couple of things EA has to add or change to make the Fight Night a really great game. Realism is lacking everywhere - not in the actual gameplay, but in things that could be easily fixed or added to make it resemble the actual sport of boxing. I don't think addding these, at least as an option, would be that hard.Comment
