money man you still havent gotten your hands on vb2? its too bad no publishers got a hold of the game. i'm taking my copy to the grave.
vb2 is better than fn2 in ALOT of ways. fn2 has the graphics, manual block, clinch, and real boxers but man i tell you thats not enough to dethrown vb. the foot work and the cross still need work. and the career mode...hah. i was expecting alot more then what i got from fn2. so many peeps gave feedback into what they wanted in the next fn as did i but never did i hear or read someone saying they wanted a haymaker punch. where did that bright idea come from?
i'm still trying to scrounge up the money to order vb-allstars. i cant wait to see what the manual guard is like.

Re: VB2 or FN2?
Originally posted by unhappytriadyou cant create boxers and dump them into your career for you to fight against like you can in fight night. so in other words, only one CAB per career.

how deep is the cab mode? can i make accurate real boxers? what about the selection of gloves-shoes shorts ect(what are the down falls? and will they fight like they do in real life(seems in fn2 they all pretty much fight the same)other then graphics what game has the better cab mode? options is what im talking about(gear, hair colers, diffrent punches, and boxing styles ect.
thanks for the feedbackComment

trunks- theres about 50 or so, plus unlockables. then you have the option to adjust width, height, and color.
you have 3 levers for blending color for just about anything like gloves, shoes, socks, trunks.
the amount of options for the face/head are really deep. check just check out this pic...
body sculpting starts with just the basic length, arm length, leg length, feet size, shoulder width, waist size, etc.
muscle developement occurs throughout the career. so you can create a real life looking boxer as far aas the face is concerned but you dont have the option to give him a sixpack right away. unless you use some cheat codes or something.
glove size can be changed when you spar
theres 7 boxing styles so you're not as limited in trying to match your boxer with the style you want to simulate. plus theres a screen where you can change around your a.i. controlled boxer's algorithimns (kind of like game sliders) but those options are all in japanese.
cab and sim options are like no other game.
the only downside to the cab is the hairstyles. theres like 20-30 different kinds. which is still not enough imo. still this is the deepest CAp i've ever seen.Comment
