Analog vs. Button Smashing
I thought you couldn't throw haymakers with the button smashing, non-analog setup. Isn't that the equalizer? You have some people saying this is a game of haymakers, and complaining that they're way too powerful, yet others saying that button smashing still dominates analog when playing against another human. Which one is it???Tags: None -

I fought a guy online last night that HAD to be using buttons to throw haymakers. There is no physical way he could have been throwing them at the rate he was with the analog stick. He came at me and knocked me down three times in the first round, all by throwing haymaker after haymaker that I could not block casue they were coming so damn fast and accurate. One to the head, one to the body, rinse and repeat. By the time I would try to block one, andother would be coming to the unprotected area. I was not even able to get a punch in (and I am definitely not 'that' bad at this game). He must have been using some sort of haymaker button or perhaps a controller that uses some sort of macro to where he programmed it!?!? All I know is that it seems to be physically IMPOSSIBLE to pull off what he did with the analog stick.
Curious to see if anyone else has had that experience or knows how people are 'cheating' like that...Comment
