    Very well put.

I've been looking for VB1 but so far have come up empty.

As far as VB2, wasn't that released only in Japan? I'd definitely like to try it out..

Your 5 shots to his one haymaker actually favor you quite a bit. I just engaged in a Lamotta VS Lamotta bout against a very capable Haymaker slinger (couldn't do much of anything else) who ended up landing 156 haymakers against me (51% connect) to my 53 haymakers (68%). I won the first seven rounds (except for a draw and loss on two seperate judges scorecard). After almost knocking him down 5 times in the first 7 rounds HE knocks me down in the 8th. In the ninth I knock him out with a strategy I basically used during the entire fight-duck and then throw a regular uppercut or a series of regular uppercuts.. Most of the time he was suckered into it a threw a haymaker to the head. I landed 77 out 85 COUNTER shots and 90% of my punches landed were to the body. The counter punch is more powerful than a regular punch, and when you counter a haymaker it's even more powerful. He landed 6 of 8 counter punches by the way.

Maybe my feeling about haymakers would change if I learned how to throw them correctly.
Haymakers are actually tougher for me to throw online than offline, to the point where they become a hit or miss proposition. I wish I could throw them with more fluidity, but I guess a lot of gamers are having those problems.
