What difficulty does everyone play on offline?

I started with medium, but it got too easy, so I moved up to hard. Now I am getting my *** handed to me. The computer parries everything, throws these HUGE haymakers constantly, and they throw punch after punch, making it nearly impossible to block everything. So I went back to medium and it's still too easy. Anyone offer advice?

I too found medium too easy and moved up to hard. I love the game but I won't give you some BS line: no matter how much you concentrate on mixing up your punches on the hard setting you will still get countered a decent bit. It will happen no matter how sluggish your opponent is, but at this point I can live with it.

For me it is kind of difficult to offer boxing advice because half of the time it sounds generic. I hooked my Xbox up to my computer today and in the next couple of days will be looking to get some gameplay footage up. I can get the video files small enough and get some footage up then maybe you can pick up a thing or two.

    Good luck!

Been playing on medium and not throwing haymakers and have much more fun with the game having fights go the distance.

Easy actually gives the most realistic AI response but its too easy to win.

I play on hard... took me a few days to get up to that level. I use PBF so I dont get any KO's. The fact that cant throw haymakers very well probably contributes to that. I ususally win Split Decsions (I'm pretty sure it's because I throw/land 30/20 haymakers per 12-round match). You just have to watch your oppenents style.

            For example:
Duran is slow and likes to throw a ton of haymakers. He'll usually punch himself out by the 6th round. If you have a fast boxer you can use jabs to set up combos and counters all night long.

Gatti is the same as Duran... but I find him a bit faster. He seems to hit me with haymakers when I counter more often than Duran

Corralles is a VERY fast counter puncher. You have to pick your spots to jab, else he'll counters and haymaker counters you all day.

Always remember to work the body. It seems to make the computer lose their punching power more quickly (that could also be the fact they are throwing a tons of haymakers).

EDIT: I forgot... the computer seems to try and steal the last 10 seconds of every round. Hit them with a few combos then just avoid them. Taking 4+ haymakers in the last 10 seconds could send you to the canvass.

Just moved up to hard and haven't won a fight since. Guys like Gatti, that throw a lot of haymakers, give me the most trouble. They seem to throw haymakers as fast as I throw regular shots.
