It isn't either/or though. In Undisputed there were shared versions of the fighters that eventually became DLC, and I bought the DLC when it came out because yeah, it was a better product. But it was nice to have the shared versions of the fighters that never made the DLC.

I see where you guys are coming from though, and I respect your opinions. Personally, I don't think it's a big issue. If a guy makes the roster, good. If not, oh well, maybe next time. That's how I look at it.Last edited by CaliDude916; 03-31-2014, 12:08 AM.Comment

Yeah, it's not a deal breaker for me anyway, and with how good the real fighters look it may be painful looking at the CAFs next to them all the time. I just hope it sells well and they are able to put out a bunch of DLC fighters, especially if it is released every other year.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

I don't understand. What if I create Rocky Balboa on my own, then share a video of that creation on YouTube? What difference does it make if that character was made by me or someone else? It's still being shown on YouTube.Comment

Exactly, King. What is to stop me from putting what I create on Youtube? It's not the sharing of fighters that puts them on Youtube. It's the user's decision. If they are concerned about it getting on Youtube, they need to remove the feature entirely.
Also, on illegal blows...
"We knew if we were going to put that in, we’d all need some kind of penalty. It’s similar to “Fight Night” when we used to have illegal blows. You could punch a guy in the nuts or head-butt him, and we had a really elaborate penalty system."
That is just not true. I am very happy they are not including illegal blows, but the reason I am happy is based on how they did them in FNC and how broken it was. So, better it not be in at all. They were animated horribly and were used for defense when you get stunned in in trouble. So you are about to get knocked down and you can throw your head at your opponent, the ref warns and then you come out of your stun state.
It was certainly not a "really elaborate penalty system." lolLast edited by DaveDQ; 04-01-2014, 08:36 AM.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Actually, I believe some games have areas or sequences that you can't share video from (although maybe I'm thinking of demos?) so maybe in the future they could make it so you can't share video of CAFs. Not a great solution and I'm not sure if I would like the trade off but it is an idea.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment
