You have to manually change the rankings on the "Rankings" Tab, but once you do that they will automatically update on the "Master" Tab.

Which sheet do I have to go to in order to enter new results? Does everything have to be recorded through the results of the EVENTS HISTORY sheet? My friend and I recorded (on paper) fights before I ever got a hold of this spreadsheet. I have no idea how to enter these results to auto generate rankings.

The "Upcoming Events" Tab is for exactly what it says... to schedule upcoming events. Once an event is completed, then simply use copy & paste to move it for the "Events History" tab. The "Master" tab has formulas that pulls that data over so everything (winner, loser, Fight of the Night results) should be updated automatically once it's in Events History. Just make sure all of the fighters names are exactly as they are on the Master Tab.

I'm so lost. Please help me understand how to use this if you can.

For example if Yoel Romero won the championship against Weidman and he isn't listed on your spreadsheet, I would have no idea how to change this.

To add fighters the first thing you do is manually add them to the "Rankings" tab. Next insert a cell in their proper division on the "Master" tab and input their name. You will have to manually look up and enter their historical data, but their new info will pull from the "Events History" tab. You will have to Copy and Paste the formulas for another line so that their data updates properly.
I answered your questions above to the best of my ability. I actually haven't messed with the spreadsheet in 6-7 months, so I'm hoping that I didn't miss anything. I'll try to look at it more in depth when I have more time. If you have any other question feel free to ask.

Love this spreadsheet. A couple questions... When running your UFC, do you max out each card regardless of if it's a PPV or just a normal fight night show? Great work on this!

Sorry, I just saw this... I used to have six fights per card, however only have 4 fights on smaller cards would probably work better. Especially, since CAF's are limited and it's a pain to add more.

I've been working on updating my spreadsheet all morning.

            Here it is: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resi...nt=file%2cxlsx

I have my CAF's on there, but you can just delete them off of the Master and Rankings tab if you don't want them. All fighters should have the correct records and belts. Although, there's some of my CAF's are in their old divisions. If you're wondering about the colors on the Rankings tab Green is for CAF's that I already have made and Red is for ones that I plan on making soon.

If you have any questions let me know.

              Re: EA UFC Excel Spreadsheet

Having a problem with your updated sheet. I added in the likes of Lesnar, Hughes and so on to it and I went ahead and did my version of UFC 189 last night and when I copied the PPV to "past events" or whatever it's called, it gave losses to the wrong fighters on the master sheet. Any advice?

It looks like some of the formulas were thrown out of whack in the My W/L/D columns.
If you somewhat familiar with excel, then it's an easy fix. Just go to Row 3 and Copy Columns P through Q, then Paste that Formula all the way down the spreadsheet to the last fighter.

The easiest way to check to see if their off is if the last two digits in the formula in Column P doesn't match the Row that your on, then it's not correct. Example Alexis Davis is on Row 3 so the formula in Column P should be =COUNTIF('EVENTS HISTORY'!F$1:F$35,MASTER!B3). If that is B4 or anything else then it's off.

If you have any problems with this let me know.

edit: I fixed the link in Post #20 for anyone that may use this going forward.

The updated spreadsheet looks great, and I am using it as my base to start my UFC. Quick question though, how do you update rankings using Excel?
Thanks for the hard work really useful.

Rankings is one of the things that you have to update manually. I based my initial rankings mostly off of http://rankingmma.com/ufc-rankings/ however there were some fighters that I used my own discretion on. Once you update Rankings, the should pull through to the Master Tab.

...And most of the thanks goes to RyanLeaf16 on here. He worked up the original spreadsheet and one of my buddies from work added on a few things when we played together on UFC 3. All I've done really is update the fighters names, records, etc.

Hey, first off your spreadsheet is really good. Great job.
Secondly, your cafs are they in a different color on the master?

Yeah, all of the ones that aren't black are caf's. At the time of this spreadsheet the ones in green was caf's I had already created and the ones in red I still had to create.

Ok, is there a way you can point me into the direction of where or how you created your caf's? It would be much appreciated, I'm looking for guys in the featherweight, LHW, and heavyweight, also I'm looking for a Patrick Cote.

Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Creating CAF's is no easy task since there's no way to share them and your limited to 10 (unless you're on PS4 and can use other profiles to create them). You'll need to sign up on EA's website so that you can upload the fighters via Game Face. You will have to download photos of the fighters and resize them to get them to work with the website. I have most of mine in a file, but if I recall correctly you still have to save and resize them. The file is too big to post on here, but I can send them to you in an email if you want. Just PM your email address and I'll send it to you.
