Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
I've been watching the different twitch feeds and other vids, and one thing im not seeing is the standing clinch take down/ slam. Has anybody else noticed this?Rise of the Sim King (Striving for Sim Supremacy)https://youtu.be/TalUkHIEnOM

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
Some of the biggest problems I have with the game are design choices that have been made. Not huge changes either.
Like minimal stamina drain during clinch and takedown attempts. These should be some of the most taxing things in the game. How often do guys "gas out" when getting clinched against the cage, defending the takedown for a round or so
Power takedown- instead of the belly to back WWE suplex animation why not one that you actually see? Like where you have their back, pick them up and slam them on their front. See that happen more often.
Defending the takedown - instead of the push away animation why not a sprawl? Same result just looks better, imo.
Just wondering why some of the animations are even in the game.
Not try to be overly critical @GameplayDevUFC. Just things that make me think "why?"

At least the pic on the right is kinda badass... But still lame the way it's set up.
So many head scratchers

I honestly have no idea, and I'm only allowed to talk about gameplay stuff anyway. But I will ask around tomorrow out of curiosity. That screen shot you posted doesn't look too hot.Comment

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
Can anyone comment on the effective of leg kicks? They don't seem to do nearly enough damage.
Watching this stream (http://www.twitch.tv/deepboyce/b/538770400 1 Hour into the stream) Rousey completes destroys Cat Zingano's leg. You can even see the visual damage.
Cat's mobility appears completely unaffected. In fact she's able to easily pull off flying knees and stuff takedowns without any issues. Hell she finishes the fight with flying knee.
I've played the demo countless times now and leg kicks seem to be a waste of time.
I guess what's the point to even attack your opponents legs? It's been confirmed there aren't any Leg TKO's. Almost no mobility penalty.
GameplayDevUFC, Can you provide some insight on how leg damage works in this game?
