    Typical EA.

Maybe in 2 yrs when the next one comes out... MMAi will actually be a REAL feature and not just hype.

I will probably still get the game but honestly why am I surprised? THQ was actually doing some good things for UFC Undisputed. Let 2K make the UFC game

I just hope EA comes out and gives us some insight on what was said to be in the game for some reason it's not or at least not in the way we were being led to believe.

EA don't go MIA on us now. Respond to the longtime faithful. I'm on the fence about this game thanks to Aholbert.

Damn man, this is such a disappointment.

I have it pre-ordered, so I will just bite the bullet. But, like MadSkillz said, I am going to have tons of house rules.

So, accelerated clock is the way to go?

My guess is the reason they did it like this is to make it accessible to the casuals. I wish at least they would give an option to those who want realism. So much for all this anticipation.

Perhaps this is displayed during career mode, but not exhibiton fights.

I doubt it, but if that's true then EA shouldn't make the next UFC. To me that would be very half arsed...

Get used to it my friend. This is a long term relationship.

We have to make the best of it, or just play UFC Undisputed 3.

Just spent the day playing the game with Carlos Condit and Josh Thomson and watching the open workouts at EA!

And Saturday the whole dev team is going to 174. So a busy (but fun) few days ahead leading up to launch.

I'll poke my head in here again probably some time tomorrow, don't worry I'm not going anywhere.

Being one of those "CAF" whores, I will also not be purchasing as 10 cafs is pitiful and plus no fighter share. Used all slots in UFC 3 and was still wanting more. Anyways, still playing Undisputed 3 and the gameplay is light years ahead. Gameplay-wise, my biggest gripe is that when you punch someone it literally feels as though you are slapping someone with some paper. No weight behind it and no pop nothing. Game looks great. That is all. What's with the over-the-top easy-to-do moves?! LOL! Seriously is this what we wrestling fans like to call a "spot-fest". Pretty ridiculous stuff I am seeing thus far. Hope to see something A LOT more sim with A LOT more custom fighter options in the next game they do (would rather EA just hand it over to 2K - then again their Don King boxing game sucked major balls). Sliders could fix a lot of this but the punches are hilarious as well as the stamina which is insane that the CPU still has an insane gas tank and seemingly can fight forever without getting tired. So much wrong with this game. I will just stop here so I don't get labeled a troll or something. Shame since this game was #1 on my list since news of EAs acquisition came. Shame shame. Cancelled pre-order about 15 minutes ago and I suppose now I can finally finish the quest for 100% on UFC 3 Also starting to think that anything associated with Brian Hayes will be arcadey.

Thanks for this. I understand that not much can be said right now so no worries there. It's just on numerous other titles in the past EA has abandoned us. Hope I didn't come off as disrespectful because that wasn't my intent.

I'm holding out hope that tweaks/ release day patch will tweak a few things. I won't be back home until next Wed so I can get a vibe off others before deciding on the purchase

Thanks so much for being active in here. This game has such incredible potential, but there are a lot of concerns on our end regarding AI aggressiveness/strike output and stamina.

Anything you can do to keep us in the loop --- if anything can be tweaked, etc --- it would be truly appreciated.

Thanks again for hanging with us!

Yeah, I think it is pretty ridiculous that people who like creating fighters realistically are now known as CAFwhores like it is a bad thing. I get that some people want to love this game NOMATTERWHAT but I wouldn't mind if it gets toned down a little.

I watched a lot of the stream and the only CPU fighter that I thought was anything close to real life as far as CPU AI was when he fought Ronda. Every fight starts out exactly the same by the CPU no matter what.

I am sure the game can be fun, I am just not sure the game is very sim. That's fine, EA can make whatever game they want to make.

To me, sim isnt controls and mechanics. The game controls and mechanics DO seem pretty cool and great tools to work with, but the game play itself, how the CPU fights, does not seem seem sim at all.

Just my opinion based on what I have seen. Again, I have not played the retail version myself, just my observations.

Is there a possibility of having a day 1 patch that addresses stamina and over aggressive AI?

I wish that stamina wouldn't regenerate. Each fighter should have a certain amount based upon his real life conditioning. After it's gone, it's gone. That would force people to play more realistically. If you gas out by spamming punches, kicks, you pay the consequences by being gassed out.

I am fine with the demo...if it plays like that its a bit arcady...but still good. There are clearly layers of strategy...but the easy level won't allow for it.
I know it is hard to realistically program a game that is based on a sport where literally ALMOST anything can happen and each strike, whether it is a jab or a spinning heel kick, has a potential to end a fight. I get that, I feel this argument is the same one used in the football game though, I understand is hard to program but it could still be better than it is. Strategy, technique, defensive fighting, I am sure it can be done.
