I love the way the game feels. Much less just a "fighting" game, much more strategy has to be used to really perform well in a fight. Don't get wrong, there are still some amazing, fun brawls, but the ground game is a whole new ball game. Everything just feels so much smoother. Can't wait until March, but I'm loving this tease!

I love the fact if the opponent is gassed you can injure their leg with just one leg kick. Knee to the body does a lot of damage as well if a person is tired. Had a ground war with Nate Diaz. We rolled for a good 10 minutes straight, it was awesome. Finally a MMA game that have strategy element to it.Comment

Few questions. I'm lost as to what modes are actually available. The only mode I've been able to get into is the ultimate team mode and I guess I'm fighting other peoples created fighters as AI opponents?
Second, can I actually fight other human opponents? There's one more mode I tried to get into but the game keeps blocking me from playing. It tries to force me to buy a subscription to Xbox Gold.......Thing is, I'm already a gold member, but the game doesn't seem to recognize it. Any thoughts?
Oh yeah, almost forgot. Will points earned in beta ultimate team transition over to the full game?Comment

Training and Quick Fight (online) are available. UT points/fighters/etc won't carry over in any way.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Practice mode is very helpful. I have been going against the "skilled grappler" AI and just working on defending transitions.

im loving the game so far.
+knockouts are great
+hard hits look good makes ppl stumble
- replays need to start five min faster to show more of the fight
-some of the ground in pound looks weird the person head going with the punch and coming back into position like a bobble head instead of a person thats knocked out.
-it would be nice if a sprint was added to chase the opponent when he is stumbled.Comment
