Re: I hate the parry so, so much
I don't wanna have a real fight, I wanna test the parry counter with you. Maybe I've been doing it all wrongComment

Re: I hate the parry so, so much
They honestly just need to get this thing right or get rid of it. It's trash. I feel like they did it like this to help the noobs create easy offense. If you wanna see how ridiculous it can be just play the AI on pro. Watch it essentially have a force field of parries. They honestly need to fix this garbage and make it more realistic. All they have now in this parry system is something that freezes the opponent and offers you a free strike while the opponent is frozen. And let me say they haven't done everything wrong. For example, the grappling system is amazing...but who ever handles the striking stuff idk what's going on there.Comment

Re: I hate the parry so, so much
The parries would be a lot better if they did two things:
1.) Remove the freeze
2.) Make a 4 way parry system
That's it.Check Out The Submission Thread!

Re: I hate the parry so, so much
Yup. PPl have given them plenty of good ideas...they refuse to listen and stay with there trash parry system that was evidently developed for noobs and casuals. Think they are afraid they will say the game is too hard.Comment

Re: I hate the parry so, so much
I never used it much but lately noticed you get early vibration feedback when you get the parry. That gives way too much of a notification to follow it with a power shot. The cue should be totally visual so they at least have to think to countethe correct.Comment

Re: I hate the parry so, so much
People might not like this suggestion but a failed parry should leave the opponent vulnerable to a strike. There needs to be a risk involved for whiffing it. High risk high reward. If you walk up to me and i bait a parry i should be able to mollywhop you for that mistake. It may not be realistic but if you had a noticeable punishment for missing a parry then people would not spam it.Comment

Re: I hate the parry so, so much
I just think eating a hit off a missed parry attempt should do extra damage on hit. That will be punishment enough for ppl who like to fish for them and that makes it truly high risk. But first they really need to change this horrid parry system they have now. Get a parry, freeze the opponent and get a free hit? Silly. No wonder so many players just fish for parries..it's just a over rewarded noob feature for the casuals.People might not like this suggestion but a failed parry should leave the opponent vulnerable to a strike. Re: I hate the parry so, so much
Im good with that suggestion. That wont completely change the parry but at the same time making it punishable.Comment

Re: I hate the parry so, so much
I already said that in my first post. Of course I can do that, but it doesn't make the parry any less stupid, especially the stupid freeze afterwards. It also doesn't matter what strike it is, as long as it's to the head. A jab should not be this unsafe to throw outComment
