I can understand your frustration with the online multiplayer, I find nearly everyone I play pick the same hand full of people. What I find worse is the lack of sportsmanship I see on a semi-regular basis. People going for "cheap and easy" wins, such as doing a million take downs a fight. Its a odd thing. I'll fight toe to toe and many players will revert to doing take downs to win rounds. Mind you they don't do anything during these take downs. They simply take me down and get up... When I try to keep em on the ground they find a way out and it starts all over. Kind of disheartening. Now let me say not everyone I've played have done this. I've had some great fights with some stand up people, regardless of who won. Maybe forcing the player to do something with each take down to earn those "points" would be better than spamming take-downs.

I agree with OP, after not playing it for about a week(been playing other games), and then coming back to it, the issues start to stand out more, i've given up on UT a while ago, have no desire to play ranked with everyone trying to pull any cheese tactic to win, i simply play quick fights and usually win but theres times i'm beat. Cheese, no cheese. Its just getting stale. With a cornball community, and dumb ideas such as the combo multiplier still to be tweaked, guys getting rocked 6+ times a round without going down and still having the footwork of a cheetah. I'm starting to play alot less. Especially after playing it everyday for the past month damn near.

That's about where I am, I have yet to try out career mode. Is it worth my time?

This was a hell of a fight. It's great to go against top guys like this who use the entire roster and don't need any gimmicks to win.

Ran into ol Victor again in a championship fight. Lasted longer, but he tapped me with Rousey again. He's not even that good, but he can tap you with full stamina.

Well if you cannot understand then you must be pretty dense,people come here to talk about the game and to vent frustration with certain mechanics.And when you say we you are not the community you are obviously just a kid,with that child like response you sound like a real credit to the community well done kid

I love this game, warts and all. When I find that I am upset after a "cheesy" loss, I try to think of counter strategies that might have worked. I also began starting every session in practice... that helped a lot.

Ya I still love this game to, but it does make me mad watchin dum crap happen, still I have played this game everyday since launch and I love it. I have so much fun. Plus I'm going to still keep playing till UFC 3 drops then it's rinse and repeat again. Fun!

I freaking hate this game so much, but at times I love it so much. It's about 50/50. If EA would just listen to me i think everyone would like this game 100%of the time..


The last game I like it 95 of the time and dislike 5 of the time.

A lot depends on your opponent to, i can lose to same dude 5 times and have a awesome time.

Ya I did love the last game also. Both UFC 1 and 2 have been great to me for the last few years online. I have had tons of fun and angry nights playing these games.

I have had outstanding matches in unranked. There now variety of fighters picked, opponents are not as worried about losing, and you can try to work on specific aspects of your game. I wish they would allow a replay if both players agreed.

Im well aware of the patches im thinking lag is one of the biggest issues with this game and hit detection along side a few exploits

If you have that much lag, that isn't the games fault. That is your internet speed. I think I've had 1 laggy game out of my last 30 fights. That's nothing to complain about. I just ran into somebody that had a crappy connection to mine.
I also don't understand all of these "well I'm done" posts. Why do people feel the need to waste a thread with a "dear John" letter. Especially when 90% of the time I see somebody say "that's it! I'm done with this game!" I will se another thread from them 10 minutes later.

If you're done, SEE YA!

I'm running 50 mbps down and 12 up, with my router in a DMZ and 3 out of my 9 fights last night had crippling lag. So yeah.
