Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Game Update 1.09 & Content Update #6 Available Now - 4 New Fighte
I'm starting to feel like I will never ever enjoy fighting the AI in an EA UFC game, how isn't anyone else here pissed about the magic parry spam?? No matter how well I mix it up, no matter how unskilled the AI fighter's striking stats are (damien maia parries like anderson silva..) AI isn't focusing on footwork, isn't focusing on head movement, just parry and it always knows where to parry.. low parries isn't even a thing in the actual sport, in the real world when you want to avoid body/leg damage you either move back or block, you cannot pull a michael jackson and swing your belly back to avoid a strike which stuns your damn opponent and gives you a free head kick SMH I wish I could be as happy as you guys are..offline is still dead to me since the launch of EA UFC 1

But they still parry 60%-70% of my strikes goddamnit how do people not rage about this? Since UFC 1 ffs all they do is parry, and they're overpowered in terms of grappling/clinching

This is also an example of why AI is hard as hell to program and why sliders are needed. Just as recent as last month, people (some who posted in this thread) were complaining about how easy pro was and saying they preferred the parry fest that was Pro on UFC 1. People were openly suggesting that the Pro difficulty should be a God mode where it was extremely difficult to beat the CPU. On the other hand, you and others have complained that its too hard and unrealistic which is exactly the opposite of what others have said.
****, Big Cee just responded to your post saying the exact opposite of what you are. He thinks its too easy.
The game needs sliders and I hope thats the case in UFC 3 because its impossible to create AI that pleases everyone.Comment

I wish Sean O'Conell had the Max Holloway taunt given that he did it in his fight against Steve Bosse.Comment

Also, I wish it would try a different direction instead of just trying the same transition over and over no matter how many times I deny it.Testing.... Testing....

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Game Update 1.09 & Content Update #6 Available Now - 4 New Fighte
Parries are annoying, plain and simple. They break the flow and take control away from the parried player. The simplest way to fix this is to remove parries for HOOKS and UPPERCUTS. In real life, hooks and uppercuts are rarely, if ever parried. They are blocked or avoided. Now before someone posts a youtube video of someone parrying uppercuts and hooks, save your strength. It's the exception, not the rule. Removing parries for hooks and uppercuts will help maintain the natural flow of the fight.Comment

I watched the new tutorials. They were ok, could have been so much more. But I could see how they could benefit a newer player.
The only new thing I learned was L2 RS left or right to reverse takedowns.Testing.... Testing....

You would be making a big mistake if you assume that the gameplay mechanics are going to be the same in UFC 3.Comment
