I am not sure if i understand what you are saying about using normal clock for rounds because i feel the AI paces itself really well and is not gassing much at all,if anything i am gassing quicker than the CPU if i get too aggressive, that is on HARD difficulty with huds off. For me i have always felt that a sped up clock is so fake and unrealistic, players call for realism and they use quick rounds instead of true 5 minute rounds which amazes me.

I agree. Feels way better now and each fighter seems to fight more like they do in real life. Havent experienced AI gassing themselves out nearly as much anymore which makes for a way better fight.
Still, I win 19 of 20 fights. Still quite easy to beat the AI.Comment

Re: This is the best the A.I. has been!
- A.I. stance switching- I understand this is common in MMA but the A.I. does it too much, even those not known in real life to switch stances. Also, when the A.I. switches stances, there's no telling whether or not they will switch back.
- More upper body movement. I mentioned this already in another post, but the A.I. can act more "human" by using more PREEMPTIVE sways to take away angles from you.
- Reacting to feints. I haven't really tested this but it doesn't seem like the A.I. is programmed at all to react to your feints. They largely ignore it. The A.I. themselves use feints but it'd be nice if from time to time you can actually bait them into making a move based on your feints.

They also need to be better on the ground in side control (they are punching bags), side saddle (they block too much and need to transiton faster as its very easy to knock someone out through the block with a few elbows) and I find them very easy to submit.Comment

Not exactly in this order but:

But seriously, keep talkingLast edited by Skynet; 08-23-2016, 03:56 PM.Comment

Like I said, I haven't truly tested it, maybe the reaction is just not obvious but I'm glad it's there if that's the case! I guess what's missing is the element where you feint, the CPU bites and you counter his reaction and land with bigger damage than you otherwise would've.Comment

Putting it out there in words so people know for sure: we don't want the AI to be a parry god, or even overly proficient at it.
They're not getting removed, but the AI aught to be doing a whole lot of other defensive things a whole lot more.Comment

Honestly, I'm surprised to hear people say this is still a thing. I was pretty darn sure that was removed.

Re: This is the best the A.I. has been!
A.I. parrying is at very acceptable levels. It's just that sometimes they can happen at the most inopportune times and you sort of exaggerate it in your head. With that said, Skynet guy, will you guys ever consider removing the parries just for the hooks and uppercuts? Seems like a reasonable request. Parrying hooks and uppercuts in real life are basically non-existent, I'm not saying they're not possible but they are rare if they do ever happen. Plus, removing the parries for the hooks and uppercuts will dramatically improve the flow and action of each bout. Parries are not the only way to defend. I'm sure we can all survive by blocking and swaying. Also, on a semi-serious not, is EA Sports legally bound to use the parrying system for some weird reason?
So while I won't say anything will change for certain, I can assure you that the team knows about the various community complaints and acts on them in the best way we can. Sometimes the best we can do is not what the community wants or expects from us, but we really do try to make the best game for you guys we can.
The best thing you can do, is keep making your voice heard.Comment

Re: This is the best the A.I. has been!
The A.I. could still use a lot of work but it's getting better.
It's head movement has gotten way better! There was a few times I got a little over aggressive against the CPU and it would put me in the matrix.Check Out The Submission Thread!
