Re: LEC is back
Lag + Clinch = Undefeatable Online lolI don't know how some people like that onchika guy can go over 100 wins with the amount of randomness in this game. It's so frustrating playing this mode with all the bad judging, delayed input, freezing etc. please lower the upper tier prize. Top 50 should at least be able to get platinum prize since its not even that good. Most people, gave up on the diamond since no ones got time to play 100 games...
(I've never played him, but a half dozen people have said as much)
Yea it is pretty damn hard to hit platinum...As of late Saturday I was ranked 30th and only had 20 wins lol getting to 40 would be pretty freaking impossible unless you are God-like (or more than likely...an exploiter)
But remember, it used to be like 25 wins to even get GOLD for the first LEC, so beggars can't be choosers

Re: LEC is back
yea I barely saw this thread late last week otherwise i might not have played at all this weekend (well, i would have made my picks, so I'm sure I would have seen it eventually...but yea, this came out of nowhere)
no word from devs if they'll do this again. But hopefully at least for UFC 205 at Madison Square !PSN: Boiler569

Racking up wins in LEC isnt that hard. I actually find it easier than ranked.Lag + Clinch = Undefeatable Online lol

- Dont give your opponents time to adjust to you and your patterns/combos. Once you land a good combo and he thinks you are going to strike with him, set up a takedown or clinch attempt and dominate there.
- Be unpredictable, come out with a ton of pressure in the first and in the second sit back and counter. This really throws people off.
- Control the action and play it safe.
- Dont throw the same combo often.
I went 164-3 on the first LEC
100-2 on my primary account the second LEC
185-1 under my secondary account in the 2nd LEC
40-1 on the third LECHalf of this game is 90% mental - Tim Sylvia

It's definitely easier to rack up wins in LEC (especially in HW)
...but....it's one helluva mental struggle to keep focus for dozens of fights in a row, that's the real test lol as i'm pretty sure you might knowLast edited by Boiler569; 09-13-2016, 10:14 AM.PSN: Boiler569

Re: LEC is back
Last LEC I crushed 10 people, got my rewards, and called it a day.
This time I kept getting matched up against div 7-8, 3000+ fights, leg kick spammers, and got worked.

it's ok man. You probably win in the game of Real Life compared to them lol
that's how I justify my losses at least lol...especially against scrubs using massively unrealistic tacticsPSN: Boiler569

Re: LEC is back
Damn right it is a struggle.
Xbox wasn't too bad but when I did my run on PS4 I was ready to throw my controller. So much lag. I was at 125-0 and ran into On1chalka and he put me in his MT clinch. Nothing I could do. Latency prevented from fuzzy guarding so I had to pre deny. He knew I was forced to pre deny so he'd wait and just hit opposite to my block. Smashed me with like 8 consecutive elbow/knees and down I went.
I ended up getting revenge later on, just couldn't let him clinch me. **** was terrible.Comment

Re: LEC is back
He is a russian player, he uses the same tactics with other close to him locally russian players when no/less latency.Damn right it is a struggle.

So latency is not the cause of block delay.
The cause is... Fuzzy guard.
As i said you before there are 10frames (=elbow startup) after releasing one block before another block level becomes active.
I dont think this is a bug - this is Anti Fuzzy guard feature.
The only way to solve this is NOT holding block before the strike started, and be vary fast to read and react on strike initial animation (startup) and press Block.
Note: even if yr hands were not in end block position, nevermind , anyway yr hands will take the hit not yr head/body (example: Head hooks in FM are srtiking the head of blocked opponent by animation, but as u see of HUD yr hands received damage, not hand, i.e. hooks are successfully blocked).
About Fuzzy guard:
- Why there are 10F delay? because there are no Hit stun (broken striking mechanics). The block delay is compensating the lack of hit stun.
- but this is terribly wrong decision! this is how i am walking on my hands instead of legs.
How to fix:
FIX the entire Striking mechanics, bring us Hots stun after every strike, no getting hit during our strike recovery phase after we successfully landed (clear hit) a strike to the opponent, etc.
P.S. Moderators, please, UNLOCK my NEW Striking mechanics thread - i need to add this info to there! I can not add new striking concept now!Last edited by SUGATA; 09-16-2016, 07:07 AM.Comment
