You do the same 1-2 body punches to start 75% of your combos just like all the other "top strikers".

I'm talking trash about this fight I just watched. One who is backdashing after every exchange and the other hugging r1 and looking for lead leg kicks.

I've come to the realization that if you don't play how ppl want you to play then everything becomes spamming and cheating.

I think you can. I want sim striking too but from a competitive standpoint on UFC2 that just isn't plausible. Do I enjoy throwing crazy combos? Yes of course but I also enjoy realistic fighting WHEN damage matters.

Go watch my fight with MTS. That was fun to me but not as fun because of the lacking damage & threat.

Just wanted to add... I've experienced fights whereby my opponent spams the Muay Thai Cling (Cling? I was going to fix this but now I kinda like the sound of Muay Thai Cling!). Frustrating, but if that's his strength, he's going to try it isn't he?


I had a game recently against a guy who recognised I was winning the stand-up comfortably. He started clinching and interrupting my rhythm and allowing him to start hurting me. It was a good fight and the winner was determined by decision (he won). He asked if I fancied a rematch on Unranked. I respectfully declined as I definitely need to practice my clinch game before playing someone like him again, otherwise the frustration might get too much and I'll jump onto a message board soapbox to declare the Muay Thai Clinch is overpowered and cheap!

You should've rematched him and work on your clinch against someone who like using the clinch.

Who knows, he might've helped you with your clinch
