Is that a momentum transition thats suuper hard to deny or something?

Same with the throw.

Is it a momentum throw?

Whats going on and why could I not deny them no matter how many times I tried, even when I knew it was coming.

I clinch, he immediately does an unblockable transition, then an unblockable throw.

He was doing this over, and over, and over. Then he'd just stand up, and do it again.

I have my video capture settings set to capture 30 second clips so I wasn't able to get a solid vid. But he just kept doing the same thing over and over, and I couldn't deny it.

Nothing there is unblockable or momentum based. You are however not using momentum out of side saddle ---> sprawl.

If it's not momentum, its not Ga, and its not connection related..

This guy is cheating then.

I know my denials very very very very well. I was denying correctly, but it never worked. And I had plenty of tries. Like I said, this guy would clinch, transition, throw, stand up, and repeat. Over, and over, till he gassed himself out and I tapped him.


My denials are on point.

Denying a completely 0 stamina fighter (Jones/Tyson/ ect) is a lot different than the denies in the other video. That transition with tyson was probably around 10 seconds. You said in a different thread you have a really high input delay tv.. that would probably be the culprit.

Trust me, no one is cheating. There is no exploit to get unblockable transitions.

The transitions can be unblockable is you did a Blank or Failed (wrong direction) Grapple block denial. Are you sure that you did not?

Blank GB - GB input NOT during the opponent's transition meter filling (for ex, pre-emptive GB) = opponent's grapple move will be unblockable, if started during it and during 2 sec after releasing Blank GB.

Failed GB - GB input during the opponent;s transition meter but in wrong direction = THIS opponent's grapple move becomes unblockable.

Well, like I said, guy was doing the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, then just standing up, and doing it again. Like, he wasn't even trying to win. He was just trying to mess with me.

So I had many many many tries. And not once could I deny the transition, or the takedown.


Now, I clinch **** guys allllllllllll the time. Before this match, I had been grapple ****ing guys for a few hours with Oleynik with no issues. I play every single day, and i've never ran into anything like this.
