Not much of something to "look out for", but more food for thought if anything. If you think this can be relevant to conversation, then this could be an idea:

Alongside "perks", maybe "traits" to develop that fighter uniqueness? For instance, on FIFA, you have "traits" such as "selfish, leadership, speed dribbler" which all contributes to his uniqueness, but then "power free kick" or "flair" would act as the perks (kind of).

Translate that into UFC, fighters like Vitor, Woodley and Machida would have the "blitz" trait (where they would explode with a barrage of attacks), and Gus and Overeem would have the "runner" trait where they would purposely run out of situations to reset.

If these traits were to be developed in UT, have it as a similar system to where NBA has badges on MyPark.



One more thing for UT:

Easier navigation to find Fighter Showcase cards!

If we want to find what fighter has what nowadays, we have to scroll through all the featured items. If we could just select a fighter and it would pop up with all cards he/she accumulated throughout the game's duration, it would be much better for us all.

For instance, we have Werdum's celebration pack out, but all I know is that he has a sliding kick to the head amongst many others he has. Now, I could understand maybe new players finding it hard navigating what showcase cards Werdum has, but when people have played 3000+ games and they're still finding it hard to find it through featured items, it's a bit of a flaw in the system.

Traits I assume would be built in and unique to that fighter. Not every blitz would have the same animation. Machida would have a flurry type blitz, Woodley would have that jab jab overhand blitz.

No.

I'd say perks develops the figure-based stats (such as 8% to stamina, whatever) whereas traits are bounded specifically towards a how fighter acts/moves or has specific mannerisms in-game. I'm sure there's a better way to word it but I'm just not finding it.

GCers! Have you played the early build of ea ufc3? Can you explain about feels compared to ea ufc2? I know.. you can't answer in this time cuz there is under contract. but i want to know some information. striking, ground, clinch, takedown. that's ok anything.
and last question is... are they still using XB1 for develop build like ea ufc2?

well at the oment the actual roster is non existant but by the time the game comes out it may fill out more but alot of the girls can interchange bewteen divisions.

Yeah but it takes time for them to make these characters. So I'm hoping maybe there is some proactivity where maybe they already know who will be on the show, or maybe go ahead and stick some of the 135'ers in the 145 division.

I'm more concerned with 145. It would be kind of cool if they could convince the Invicta team and fighters to let those women be in the UFC game.

im concenered about that aswell, i got a feeling they will just put cyborg in the 135 division, the girl she beat for the 145 belt is a 135er aswell.

I believe Megan Anderson is officially signed. They probably won't do this for anyone not officially on the roster, but it would be kind of cool if they could get Gina Carano's license. Maybe try to do the same for Marloes Coenen (although she might still be tied to Bellator and Coker). Add Holm, Zingano and GDR and then maybe ask Invicta for the right to sign some of the fighters for their likeness too and you could have the start of something.

This is also where offline users would love to have more CAF slots (I'm thinking over 100). Then I could just make the entire division myself and if you open up 135 to fight at 145, I'm good.

Although, I think eventually you'll basically be seeing an Invicta fighter share program for this division, so in a roundabout way, I think the conclusion might look largely the same.

If Carano had even once fought for the UFC I think she would have been perfect legends fighter. More legit than Bruce Lee and Mike Tyson, just not as much of a selling tool.
