Glad to see more people coming around to your opponent not seeing your information.

Issue with some of those would be how easy itd be to notice, you dont get that good of a look ata fighters face to notice winces and stuff when you're busy trying to strike and everything.

Damage would be good, only if they turned down how easy it is to cut someone. Lay in guard and let them throw baby punches to your head, after a few strikes you're gushing blood. Every fight looks like you got beat with a 2x4 to the face within 2-3mins.

But more visual queues for stamina and damage would be nice. Some things shouldn't heal so easy either, such as leg damage. But checking a leg kick should damage the kicker as well. I also dont think submissions should damage thr limb.

Theres one sub, arm triangle from half guard maybe? If you let it go or they escape last gate, one strike finishes them. How does choking me make it so a aingle hammer fist kos me?

        Ways to show fatigue accumulation:
        - Breathing (open mouth).
        - Slightly shower shots or movement.
        - Deep breaths during pauses in action.
        - Moving slowly to the corner.

        Ways to show pain accumulation:
        - Limping (leg pain).
        - Swellings.
        - Cuts & visual damage.
        - Discolouring.
        - Wincing when hit in a specific place.
        - Shaking head to say "no" when hit hard.
        - Nodding head to say "nice one" when hit hard.

        Rocked states:
        - Wobblyness.
        - Slightly off key movement.
        - Wide eyed (when hit flush).
        - Wincing (when hit to body).

        Things like these.

One thing that would be awesome, after a hard body shot, can the guy take a small pause and then decide to sit down rather than instantly falling to the ground. So there's a slight delay except if it's a body TKO where it can happen much quicker.

When the hud is on, the current stuff is good enough unless they've completely revamped the stamina system and need a second bar in there for whatever reason? Anaerobic bar vs Aerobic bar? Fight Night's was good enough tbh.
One thing I wonder though, all those fatigue animations work well for standup, but what about the ground? The cues there are much subtler and tactile I think. How would you animate those?

In my ideal scenario, I can only see my own meters (like in FNC), but I can watch the match replay back (with slow mo, rewind, free cam etc) and turn the meters on for both fighters so I can see exactly what was going on after the fact.

For online competitive modes you shouldn’t be able to see your opponents stamina or damage meters.

This is the best suggestion about this subject

Re: What kind of HUD would you like in UFC3?

The issue I have is how will the game give you the damage level. I've done a little boxing in my day and believe me damage is noticeable. Boxers will attack a certain area because it's obvious either damaged has occurred or the strikes are taking a toll on the opponent. Ufc is still a game and without the indicators you'll have no visual confirmation. So if the opponents stam and health bar is removed then at least replace it with a longer health event. Not the UFC 2 health event but somewhat of a sluggish feel when they try and fight back. I'd rather they get rid of health events and replace it with what I'm saying.

Depends on how good the animations for fatique and damage actually are. If its really clearly visible, then I say give it a go to:

                  - Only my HUD or even...
                  - No HUD at all

Let the actual fighter's body change colors. People might understand it better, then learn to play without.
