Here is the first set of combos i enjoyed & adapted:

-Cross-Lead-Hook-Rear-Lowkick: Triangle-L1+Square-Circle/Y-LB+X-B
-Cross-Lead Hook-Roundhouse Kick(Head): Triangle-L1+Square-L1+Circle/Y-LB+X-LB+B
-Double Jab-Right Hook: Square-Square-L1+Triangle/X-X-LB+Y
-Body Straight-Opp.Headkick: L2+Square/Triangle-L1+X/Circle // LT+X/Y-LB+A/B
-Cross-Lead Uppercut-Cross: Triangle-Square+X-Triangle/ Y-X+A-Y

That seems like a bunch of buttons for a two strike combo. Guessing that's PS and Xbox inputs.

i didnt use one combo on the list and won most of my fights. Maybe i was using the combos unintentioanlly but i just let my striking flow when in striking range and not thinking about combo list inputs.

It will show all the combos available to the fighter, a video of the combo, and the buttons required to input the combo.

Thanks GPD. Reading this before the beta and keeping it in mind during the beta actually helped me out alot. I went into Practice Mode and tried the same combo with all fighters and with this new system I can definitely feel a difference.

Striking is awesome I'm really impressed with what has been done for it. This new discipline level system has me excited to use the entire roster, and also has me excited to see how this can be trained in Career Mode.

The same combo speed and fluidity that a level 4 boxing discipline is capable of, felt different then a level 2 boxing discipline even if both fighter had great speed attributes. Which really brings out fighter individuality, and a difference in technique amongst fighters, making combos more realistic.

For an example: a jab, jab, uppercut, or cross, jab, uppercut made uppercuts more deadly than trying to throw an uppercut by itself.

I don't know about how others feel about this but I'm excited about this new feature in EA UFC 3, and I'm looking forward to seeing it with the whole roster. I haven't touched EA UFC 2 in a long time I'm pretty sure that game is officially retired for me.

Honestly, the movesets menu has always been mediocre. Like, why not give the position in which the submissions you have are possible? You would think a d'arce choke would be available to you in sprawl position same as with the anaconda, but the only way to pull one off is via a finish the fight oportunity or in side mount bottom.

There's so very little details surrounding everything.. Hell you wouldnt even know its possible to do a reversal/counter submission unless you went in a different menu!

Judo throws level 1 : basic throws. ... Oh ok.

Judo throws level 2: intermediate throws... like for real? You wont even name the throws available nor in which positions?

Those are only exemples, but as you see its so minimal that any casual or first time player would literally have no clue of what he can or can't do unless he has the time to read the grappling hud in each position he ends up in.

Hopefully they at least made some efforts for the retail version, because in the beta and the last 2 games, you could barely feel any effort in it.

I hear you Acebaldwin. The movesets menu was lacking in info. It was quite vague about the difference between level 1 clinch, to level 3 clinch.

Yes it showed a clip but it never actually showed us what has no become available because of a higher level grappling Technique.

It would take some serious time to mess with a CAF and change his grapple Technique levels then go into practice mode to see what was added or taken away because of his level. Hopefully this portion has finally changed.

I'm not saying anyone hasn't said anything about it before, but I personally have never seen any mentioning about this detail.

Cub Swanson needs a body punch- cartwheel kick combo. . He was breaking down some of his techniques in a short video today.
