I just hope I don't come back in here this time tomorrow and see negative thread after negative thread! It seems for the most part everyone on here has been pretty cool and it's really awesome how everyone has come on here and contributed,letting the devs know what they want in the game,what needs to go,what needs fixing etc. I just hope the majority don't tear this game to shreds because the beta doesn't live up to their expectations. Hopefully we can all express our impressions if the beta in a civil manner. Although the beta will probably be close to what can be expected of the final product,I'm sure they will have time to make minor changes if it's something that is within the realm of possibility. I just have really enjoyed the vibe in here,other than a couple trolls most of you guys are passionate about the sport of MMA and about games in general so I hope that vibe continues on after tomorrow.

THIS WILL 100% HAPPEN.

I think alot of people will love the beta and will be excited but there will be a vocal group that will hate the beta either because they dont want to learn the new controls or preferred the UFC 2 way of striking or just want to be counter and hate on the game.

I am fairly sure this forum will be a cesspool tomorrow. I don't have a lot of faith in gaming communities these days, as they tend to be the most toxic forums I have ever been a part of.

No parries will cause a lot of hate, specially for those who could do nothing but spam parry and wouldnt strike without having that counter window

I thought this is what the community as a whole, wanted,a more realistic MMA game? I know there's no pleasing everybody,but it just seemed like that was the biggest complaint about the last 2 games, wasn't realistic enough,too arcadey etc.

Well,I mean they can go pick up Tekken or Street Fighter then lol. Sounds like MMA isn't their thing if that's the style play they like.

Realistic is relative. Also some people value fun over realism. There are some players who had no issues with UFC 2's striking. Those people are wrong but they exist.

I just hope the devs don't listen to these guys and dumb down the realism of the striking to plz these guys. They already had two games with horrible striking...it's about time things got realistic with this game in the striking department.

MMA fans should be. Remove any excess counter window, make it so you have to press parry button and block at the same time. That way people can't camp on block and still parry.

A big portion of roster fighters don't really bob and weave that much, in UFC 3 every fighter will. I understand it looks cool and feels good on thumbsticks though. I would have actually made a slipping stat that effects speed and range of slips, but since parries are gone that stat wouldn't make sense cause it will be every fighters best option for head strikes.

Just an FYI since it doesn't matter anymore, but in UFC 2 almost nobody parried body/leg attacks effectively if you were mixing it up.

The guys who couldn’t strike and relied on power counters to have any chance to win? Those guys will be upset and there’s a lot of them
