Re: EA UFC 3 CPU vs CPU video
Agreed. Very janky and disjointed looking. Way too many knockdowns. Nate was in the middle of getting rocked and dropped Conor. Counter shots seem wayyyy overpowered as I feared. You can even drop people while rocked apparently if they miss or leave their chin open a little.Comment

The AI is too generic. I'm not seeing any realism here, unfortunately.Comment

Re: EA UFC 3 CPU vs CPU video
Whats up with finish animation ??
5;56 and 6;35
Striking and movement looks fluid tho.2k18 fixes
Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)
Late contest on laups matter too much.
Random blocks doing pumpfakes.
Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.Comment

Re: EA UFC 3 CPU vs CPU video
The striking looks way better than UFC 2 to me. What the **** are you all talking about? It looks much more realistic and smooth than UFC 2. The movement is clearly much better and strikes that land clearly matter. Particularly the timing of them. The damage done in certain circumstances by strikes could possibly be a little much but that can always be patched. I felt like Conor got rocked a little too much and too easily. But we'll see how it plays out in the beta.Last edited by Serengeti1; 11-27-2017, 07:33 AM.Comment

Re: EA UFC 3 CPU vs CPU video
I was very optimistic about everything regarding this game. I could understand limiting what you do with clinch/ground because of the striking updates. But ignoring giving the game a fresh coat of paint in presentation and what not? That sucks. That's disappointing. The pre-fight look, the post-fight look, it's all exactly the same as UFC 2, and it was generic as f in UFC 2, let alone now, two years later. That's a real shame.Comment

Yeah, I saw pack openings. That's the core of UT pretty much so I dont expect that to be different. I hope for proper balance though.Comment

Re: EA UFC 3 CPU vs CPU video
I straight up question your understanding of MMA if you think the striking in this looks less realistic than UFC 2. It's not perfect but it's way better. Like pretty clearly.Comment

Re: EA UFC 3 CPU vs CPU video
Geez. The pace, the mini knockdowns where the attacker just seems to have to wait for them to get up, etc. Also, it looks mostly just like a brawl.
It's really making me think I'll pass on the game. Can't get the Beta here in Aus to actually try it. A demo would be a great idea.Comment

A) This is the WHOLE point of a Beta. If there's something in there that you don't like, be as specific as the English language will allow you to be and point it out.
B) You're watching people playing the game in a very ugly way. I GUARANTEE and I can prove it and you can take it as me bragging if you want, but If you watch me play this game, you'd be demanding EA take your money.
There are ALOT of weird, awkward and sloppy looking animations in there that I hope they can clean up before release and a few other minor things, but rest assured... You don't wanna miss this game.Comment
