The stats in UFC 3 are so MUCH better and most of the issues people will have will be more of the "I think Bisping should be a 93 instead of a 92" variety and not the "Conor is a grappling god" kind.

So if the stats are solid there wont be a need to make changes for veteran fighters based on one fight result.
This is true. Crossing my fingers

I don't disagree that balancing was needed, I just don't think the way to go about that is buffing people based off one win and we have no idea if it'll be super necessary in 3 yet, since barring diaz 1-2 spam, the beta felt pretty balanced (Unless you picked Dunham or something, but like, duh)

Even Dunham felt ok to me. It wasnt easy to beat Conor with him but I could beat a Daruish or a Diakese with him.

Please don't make reactionary changes based off one fight. If this were the case many fighters would be dropped so drastically. I don't even want to get into this. Madden is problematic enough with weekly updates where Dez Bryant suddenly becomes a better or worse spectacular catcher on a week to week basis due to a drop or a catch.

The only thing that should be adjusted is a consistency rating that doesn't exist in UFC 3 as we know it. How often fighters show up with those ratings. Outside of that they should be initially set to best replicate the fighter based on averages. Adjusting a fighter based on a KO win or loss is silly unless it happens over a long stretch.

That's basically what I meant, there was pretty clear tiers, but the people in each tier where pretty well balanced internally.

I felt there was 3 tiers in the beta, with McGregor, Khabib, Tony, Barboza and Diaz being the top tier, tier 2 being Felder, Pettis, Eddie, Lee,Iaquinta and Poirer and Dunham,Dariush,Diakese and Cheisa being the 3rd tier. It was only really the 3rd tier against the 1st tier that you really felt the difference, everything else felt pretty good regardless of matchup. (feel free to argue the tiers, I basically settled on Barboza pretty quickly into the beta, so my experience is fairly limited with a lot of other guys)
