    Stamina needs more punishment.

Damage should be more but landing should be harder.

Witch all of this, I,m pretty sure UFC 3 will be one of the best Mma/Ufc games ever.

The big "problem" with that videos is that UFC 3 is a extremely diferent striking system compared UFC 2 (and the rest of fighting games). As a spectator, to APPRECIATE THE FULL UFC 3 POTENTIAL, you need to see two skill players (or AI vs AI in legendary level).

        Excuse my english.

The weirdest looking thing about the game, is when fighters are in the Pocket Range, but the players are pushing the left stick torwards their opponents and as a result the game plays out "Moving forward" striking animations.

Those look particularily goofy and i am suprised that nothing has been done to adress this.

They need to somehow be automatically disabled, depending on the 2 players movements. and be replaced with normal-standing still type of strikes' animations.

The moving forward animation strikes, should be played when someone needs to get in range and thus moving forward or when their opponent is moving away.

I think youre right, if both players are moving forwards but cant move any closer to one another, the result would be forward moving strikes stabding still. And I think thats definitely what we're seeing.

Man I can't wait to use Big Nog - firing off that jab then knocking them silly with the straight. I really hope he's got a decent boxing combo package so I can pull off stuff like this. . . .

Just my opinion, but the game looks pretty rough... I'm still buying it because I'm an MMA junkie, but it's mostly just for an updated roster at this point, as this gameplay looks seriously clunky... So floaty, awkward, and unrealistic looking to me..

I don't blame the devs tho. We have awesome, passionate devs.

I'd blame the big cheese at EA for shortchanging, and under funding development.

Everything i've seen lately makes it seem like EA is more interested in Ultimate Team, Loot box, micro transactions, than producing a quality product.

I agree with all of this, most of the gameplay I've seen looks pretty rough. But, I know from the beta that visual jank doesn't bother me as I'm playing and that, to me, it feels significantly better than UFC 2, so I'm still pretty excited for the game, and not just because I'm a junkie. I also think that bad players really, really exacerbate the visual jank

Sort of agree, I think it's going to be one of those things where it looks great sometimes but then others it looks hideous, kind of like these gameplay vids. I personally had A LOT more fun playing the game than I did watching vids of it. Most of the vids look ugly.

But yes, given the fact that every complaint I voice is met with "We don't have the budget" or "We don't have the time" or "If we did that then we couldn't do this" it screams of being underfunded. It's a shame, there's plenty of people out there who would throw the right support behind an MMA game.

If both players move forward and are in pocket range(which happens all the time in EA UFC 3) there is that force field that has people looking as if they are sliding/moving but their actual position doesn't change. (as if they are on a treadmill)

Aside from that, most importantly at that range, they are not interacting with each other, by doing shoving/pushing/pulling animations or hands grabbing and controlling etc. They are just held away from each other by that force field, but i guess the force field is even more prevalent in EA UFC 3 due to the new and various movement animations, causing it to show even more.

I guess for the last one, we might see some changes in the next EA UFC game when they rework the clinch, because that pocket range interactive striking, is a stage after the stand-up tagging game & a stage before glued on clinching.

There is no moon walking due to an invisible force field in UFC 3 if you both just walk forward. I'm trying it right now, doesn't happen.

If you are in the pocket and still holding forward while throwing strikes, you are lunging forward in place, throwing strikes. This looks super weird.

Why do you act as if EA is the only company that will make sports games? What many will argue are the two best sports titles on the market, NBA 2K and MLB The Show, have in common is that neither are published by EA.

Your problem is thinking that they're doing you a favor by making this game. As if they didn't, no one else ever would. So you make excuses for mediocrity. And they may be valid excuses, who cares? It's still mediocrity. But much like they've done with Madden, they control 100% of the MMA gaming market so you either have to take what they give you or get nothing at all.

Why are you getting defensive? I asked you a question.

You said that there were plenty of people who were interested. What evidence do you have that 2k was ever interested in the mma market? What evidence do you have that Sony San Diego was interested. 2k bought the WWE license from thq but never showed any interest in the ufc.

If there were a ton of other interested parties, where were they when the ufc license was available?
