There are some problems whith takedowns.

How can Nganu stop a Cain Velazquez takedown attemp less than a second after failing a high kick?

I just had a guy on xbox that kept trying this with JDS during our ranked title fight. He was also on the mic laughing saying that i’m gunna get you.

So after that i never postured up and just stayed in his full guard everytime i was on the ground. Then i knocked him out in the 5th round.

He sent me a message saying i got lucky. He was trying to freeze me.

A fight featuring Anderson Silva and a lot of spacing, in case you want some eye candy as a break from the frequent in-your-face fights that are so common:

Just wanna post this for those that don't think you can step in jab... Make sure to watch the replay in slow motion.

                      <div style="position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.21%"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dk6yOueyJQc?ecver=2" style="position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;le ft:0" width="641" height="360" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>

The jab covers quite a bit of distance and I actually often use it as a range finder and don't even intend on landing it. This guy got caught with the same combo three times in a row so he's obviously not a world beater but this is still effective against the best players if you're good with distance. It's just harder to land.

That said, I'm all for any buffs to the jab as far as stopping power or anything. I think if it covered more distance it might be OP tho. Not sure.

The stopping power is already pretty high, 70%. That is particularly good when you also consider how fast the jab is. It ends up being about as good as the cross, to stop people. The cross is a little slower and has 90% stopping power.

Nothing pretty or fancy here, just 2.5 rounds of glorious violence!

ik but GPD mentioned buffing it somehow which I'm down for (can't remember what he said). At the end of the day... It's just not useful enough right now. All I know is I want a game that plays out more like an actual fight. Maybe they don't right now because of other problems (likely) but we'll see.

Yes. "Stopping Power" is also being used in the sense of halting the opponent's forward movement, which happens with some attacks. I prefer to call it pushback (even in cases where it doesn't literally pushes the fighter back and only prevents them from advancing).
