I'm not really impressed by Covington. People praise his pace and stamina, I remember Maia outstriking him early and RDA was just poor in my opinion, just like he was poor against Usman. Sure, these guys are good grapplers but he offered nothing in terms of retaliation. If he does well against Till, Askren or Woodley, fair enough then.

The small cage definitely ain't help against Usman, and ah yes , Maia did turn into a boxer for two rounds lmao. The maniacal pace to get into that cage grinding is what's impressed, even though I was very annoyed.
Against Colby he did have the misfortune of his ear almost coming off after the first round, so there's that. Usman definitely whooped him in the ways I've stated previously, never gave up, but that was a definite 50-44/50-43 for Usman.

I don't think Colby would get past either of those three. And he needs a freak knock out to beat Woodley.

Does anybody know why Jake Matthews head movement was raised to 88 in one of the earlier tuners then dropped back to 83 after the most recent one?

Accident or due to the Rocco Martin fight? His head movement wasn't amazing but he was winning the standup until Martin's low kicks injured his leg.

I thought Matthews standup looked improved if anything, he landed harder shots and stunned Martin in the first. He was a bit wild and still needs work but given his current stats I don't think he needed a Nerf.

Or not a 5 point one anyway.

How quick they are to nerf characters that really don't need to be nerfed, but God forbid they nerf the inflated Health Stats FW/LW/WW Tank that is Conor McGregor.

I don't quite get why the UFC would want certain fighters to have noticeably worse stats than other fighters, thus creating tiers. Isn't it better for everyone to be portrayed as good as possible? And obviously pure physical qualities such as stamina and health can be possessed by anyone, not just the elite. You called for some buffs to Dan Hooker but I doubt they'll give him 92s in health because he's not Tony Ferguson.

I always thought as a base everybody should have 90 in their health stats until proven otherwise, at LEAST to make things even. The stats are relatively accurate with some fighters, whereas some are just straight disrespectful.

Well from what I understood it's the UFC who doesn't want these accurate stats. And I wonder why. They would only benefit from all of their fighters being seen by people to be as good as they possibly can. But who am I kidding, they don't want to get behind them in real life, let alone in a game.

They're the reason for Grapple God Conor in UFC 2, and now Tank Conor in UFC 3.

He is a tank in health terms but it's great to see those realistic grappling and stamina stats. They easily could have been like 89s or something.

WW Conor is the one that annoys me the most. Same with Diaz being an A+ Fighter in LW. Very glad with the grappling stats for Conor, even though they gave him a 2 stage Armbar and a Triangle choke from Sub stacked, yet a BJJ World Champ like Aldo doesn't. (Me being salty)

His Endurance stat is something I always kept an eye on.
