Why the hell does Joanna (Ex)Champion have 91 power, which is equal to Rose, who has shown that she punches markedly harder than Joanna (their second fight showed that)

She is THE definition of volume striker. Her TKOs come from swarming when an opponent wilts not raw power.

I honestly think it should be 85 with maybe tree chopper level 3 or 4, even with combined hands and feet it shouldn't be 91. The rest of her stats would easily make up for lower power, she's already the fastest in the division with the best cardio.

Similar applies to Karolina K and Dom Cruz as well, they both have higher power than they should IMO.

He's getting older now, clearly he's starting to gas out and has been for some time now, to the point of not being able to implement his offensive grappling.


Edit: I actually think the striking stamina could drop as far as 88, it's really noticeable that he doesn't have great cardio now.

From the get go these two stats have been a major point of contention for me. Lineker is completely misrepresented and only playable as a counter fighter. He has amongst the highest on the feet strike output in the ufc. The Sandhagen fight is just another example of this. Plus Lineker throws more strikes in the final round with power and fight ending potential. The actual stats reflect this, but have been overlooked or ignored. He is an anomaly of a fight style in Bantamweight and formally Flyweight, being a relentless plodding, pressure power striker with insane output and durability. I challenge anyone to actually sim the Lineker style successfully with his current trash stats in these areas. Speed, power, chin etc., all those stats are spot on, but endurance and stamina you treat this guy like Rumble Johnson. Again, fix this please.

FYI there aren’t likely to be any changes for ufc3 but these suggestions (well the ones that aren’t accompanied by insults) are helpful for UFC4 so keep them coming.

It happened because we didn’t fully understand how stamina works with the meta when we made the stats 2 yrs ago and partially because Lineker has only fought once while we were updating the stats. Since EA only updates fighters after they fight, we weren’t able to update him after May 18 (which is right around the time we really started to hnderstand fully how the stats work with the meta)

I think the range u suggested is right around where I would put him (maybe a point lower)

Ortega should have 91 power he finished franky and got 0 buffs in that fight to his power. Also consider boxing level 4

Ortega was buffed from a 89 to a 90 after that fight. The only reason he wasnt buffed to a 91 was because we didnt want to overreact to the Frankie win and a buff to 91 wouldve given him more power than Holloway at that time.

I would probably consider dropping Diaz Bros' bottom ground game ratings since historically they have struggled against controlling wrestlers (LNP if you wanna call it). I don't remember their exact ratings but I would reserve high 90s to characters who few people try to grapple (Werdum, Maia, Jacare).

Disagree. Both Diaz bros have shown to have incredible guards with mutiple sub wins coming off their backs.

For example Maia only has 1 sub off his back. Jacare has no subs off his back. Nate Diaz has 7-8 subs off his back. Nick has at least 5 subs off his back as well.

Historically Maia has also been shut down by wrestlers. His last 5 losses, all high level wrestlers.

That shouldve been changed because the team requested a 1 point bump after the Edgar fight. I looked through the notes of our slack and we discussed it for a while and agreed upon 90.

If it wasnt added, thats a mistake on EA's part.

I specifically asked for bottom game nerfs not submissions so they can still keep them. Regardless, Aholbert has consistently stated how the level of competition matters which hurts the Diaz bros. Jim Miller is by far their best victory (in terms of grappling resume) but that was a panic takedown counter after Miller got rocked.

This is an ingenuine argument. Shields (one of the best MMA grapplers IMO) grappled with Maia but the other four beat Maia by forcing him to stand and strike with them. Diaz bros have been taken down and neutralized. Just compare how Rory fought Nate and Maia.

Maia's and Jacare's lack of bottom submissions is because few fighters try to take them down.
