    Signature backward movement

Fighters like TJ, Cruz, Esparza etc have signature lunges.

How about some signature backward movement and/or dash.

You can see Silva walking backwards, and as his right foot cross his left he throws his right hand.

And with Miocic he is sorta sprinting backwards, both sorta like reverse finish the fight strikes.

Surprised you don't like Werdum. Muay Thai until it hits the mat, then sick sick Jits. Kind of like Nog, but Nog has Boxing instead.

I love Werdum man. He's like the Son-Wukong of MMA. So funny, and cool imo.

Never liked him - really don't like anyone that distances themselves from their home turf. His entrance to the Stipe fight was just awkward.

Lil Nog got way more of loving reception as a fight pass fight that same night when he finished Cummins. The UFC made those stupid Werdum troll face masks hoping they'd catch on throughout the crowd (people were confused). They knew he wasn't a countryman and looked generally confused when the masks were being passed out.

To see him get floored was fantastic. Then the abundance of picking Werdum on EA UFC 2 really cemented my despise for Werdum, and with UFC 3 it's funny how something's never change.

That said Werdum is the best Heavyweight BJJ practitioner of all-time. I just really never liked him especially early in his career when he rarely finished people.

Yeah still wanna hear about Werdum's take on that fight. Thought Stiopic said something along the lines that Werdum panicked cause he wasn't hurt by anything he threw. But the way he rushed into that KO was kind of odd. Would like to see the rematch.

Also that decision loss to Reem made no sense, and I am Dutch.

Wow, yeah that was pretty cool!

I love how humble Cro Cop is when telling that story too.

                Re: Signature backward movement

I've found a few fighters with unique back dashes. Just the short ones, LS+ flick in desired direction, not the L1+LS ones.

So far I've noticed, Mighty Mouse has unique short dashes.

John Dodson has a unique short back dash while blocking where he does a cool little shoulder roll/hop while blocking.

Wonderboy and Till have their karate Esq forward/backward hops.

And a few other fighter who elude me right now have unique short lunges that I've seen, its really cool.

The short LS lunges are waaay WAY more useful than I thought they were in the beta, you can you them to get in or out quick, slip punches, kicks, they're almost like a safer version of head movement against certain strikes, really cool.

Machida is a good fighter to use to practice solely using movement for defense. As his blocking and head movement is appalling.

Also, on fighter uniqueness, Wonderboys whiffed rear body kick into stance switch-body side kick combo is utterly amazing and an awesome small touch I didn't expect.

John Dodson is probably my favorite fighter in the whole entire game right now besides maybe Edson Barboza. He is so right, and yes his movement is just beautiful.
