Two division champ on career mode confusion?
So i succeded to becoming a two division champion and a legacy fighter by creating an female SW. My question is, how do i go back to the strawweight division after winning the BW belt? The game literally forces me to play on the BW division after becoming champion. Do i have to lose the BW belt in order to go back?Tags: None -
Re: Two division champ on career mode confusion?
Unfortunately you end up stuck in the division you won the second belt in.
Sucks I know. I wish you could chose which belt you drop at least or have an option to 'drop weight' or 'jump up' weight classes. -

Re: Two division champ on career mode confusion?
They should of approached this with the way it was done in FNC's Legacy Career Mode. Which allows us to hold multiple belts. FNC hands down had the best approach for going up and down in weight.
FNR3 however had the best visual approach with more noticeable differences between our fighter's size in one weight class vs another.
I don't have a clue what kind of work is needed to change this approach EA UFC 3 has but maybe it could be patched to allow us better options of going between weight classes.
Maybe even allow the match making to allow fight options at other weightclasses.Comment

Yeah the rails that you’re on for career mode really hurt it and damage it’s replayability. I got GOAT once. I doubt I’ll touch it again.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: Two division champ on career mode confusion?
I would have to disagree a little bit because it’s not like fight night champions which was the story mode but extremely well written and fun I wish they would have done the same with this..Half story mode with different characters and half decisions on where you want your career to end up, if they would’ve went that direction the career mode would have been so much more entertaining.

Re: Two division champ on career mode confusion?
Too much is made of the preset rivals. The real problem is rivals don’t matter. They send you a couple generic mean tweets and then you fight them before you get a new contract. That’s it. Rivals could be completely removed and the game wouldn’t suffer for it.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: Two division champ on career mode confusion?
I'm not sure what's worse, that there is no build up to being a rival or the fact the only rival you fight more than once is the first one.
Even after I won the first belt I never got to fight any of my past 'rivals' again. Heck after I took the belt off of JJ I never fought her again either. No champions rematch or anything. If anyone deserves a second rivalry fight it should be the person we took the belt off of.
I had hoped for more depth in the rival system and to feel like I earned a rival like you do in Champions Online or Shadow of War.
However, back on topic, is the lost lower weightclass belt the same for men's career or is this just for women since we're jumping up 2 weight classes?Last edited by Atgail; 02-04-2018, 03:08 AM.Comment
